"After getting 2 rather large ferrets from the local shelter that were way too big for the cage I already had for my 4 little ferrets I went to PetSmart looking for a cage that would be comfortable for all 6 of my ferts.. This is the best cage ever! They love it & there is plenty of room for all of them! it's also heavy duty, ferret friendly due to the fact that the wine bottoms are covered with heavy duty plastic trays.. and very easy to clean! Great product and a great price!"

"I can not believe what a great, frantastic cage this is. I have four ferrets, and when I but them in this cages they were so excited. This cage is big enough for my four ferrets and more. The cage was so easy to put togehter, and to move it to where it needs to go was so smooth. It gives easy access to your ferrets, and makes clean up a snap. I am very impressed with the quailty of this cage. I would highly recommend this cage. It is such a pleasure to see that my furry friends have so much room to play. There is enough space, for more than one hammock, tents, and their toys. I love the fact that the doors give you such easy access, and they open wide, and are extremly easy to operate, and they are on both levels. Thank you pet smart for offering this cage to your customers."

The best cage for any small pets,

"We started with one chinchilla and now we have three, they share this cage. It has plenty of room and nice ramps for them to get between all 4 levels, very easy to clean, just keep a corner litter pan. Great for rats, chins, ferrets, and even bunnies, my daughters friend liked it so much she got one for her bunny. You wont be sorry, even if we miss a day letting the chins out, I dont feel so bad because they have so much room and they love their cage. I surrounded it with the playpen from petsmart and I can open the doors and they just come and go as they please, until bedtime then I close them in so they are safe. The only thing I would change is higher edges on the trays."

"That really sums it up in one word. From the being one of the easiest cages to assemble, to the quality, to the space and room, To the headaches of begging and pleading with my wife to get this cage for my two babies. It was all worth it! I'm not really sure who loves it more, myself or the "kids" but we cant stop bragging about it. If you have the money it is well worth the investment. My old cage went straight to the trash!"

"After purchasing my 2 female ferrets and the only cage available for them from the store was a cheaply made wire cage with plastic shelves i started to do some research. I found many awesome reviews about the ferret nation cages! while shopping around for them, i found they were always on backorder :(. While at my local petsmart we were looking at fish and i happened to see the cage sitting on a shelf! i was overjoyed!. I took it home, put it together.. and it more than doubled the size of the old cage. the ferrets love it! they can play and sleep, and there is room for 2 litter boxes!"

"I have this cage for my two female Degus, and all three of us love it! It's huge and gives my girls room to run and jump and play, even with their toys and accessories. they have a small hammock hanging from the bottom platform and a large ferret convertible hammock/tent/house hanging from the top with the door hole facing the top platform so they can get in/out easily.
the storage rack on the bottom is great for keeping their travel tank on, and any extra accessories as well. the double doors on both layers make cleaning a snap, and the critter-proof latches prevent escaping.
because I was given this cage when I adopted Emma and Lily from a friend who had moved into an apartment that didn't allow rodents, I had no instructions to go by for assembling the cage once i got it home, but even though it took 3 people to hold it upright and screw it together, it wasn't overly complicated, just big and bulky.
this is an amazing cage for degus as well as ferrets, and when my senior girls pass away, i know this cage will be good for ratties or chinchillas too."

"Since adopting my first ferret (a very large male) I've gone through multiple cages- they were either too small for him, or were way too hard to clean. I ended up getting this cage, and its perfect. Easy to clean, and lots of space for my ferret and his toys. I recently adopted a very small female who can escape out of anything- I have yet to find a carrier that works for her- and even she can't weasle out of this cage. Only bad thing- the trays are really shallow, so when the litterbox is missed, the excriments have a tendencty to fall out of the cage unto my floor."

"I got this cage for my handsome lil ferret, he is actually a free roaming ferret (my house is ferret proofed) but i have a baby on the way and wanted to have a spacious cage for him, and i needed to get him a christmas present anyways... I am very very pleased with this cage it is great quality and easy on the eyes, no other cage compares, it is well worth the money, i wasted $100 on a cage when i first got my lil man and wish i had just sprung to get this one, its very sturdy. assembly takes some time but that is what i was expecting a great quality cage isn't just going to unfold and snap in place, you should have a philips head screw driver for assembly to tighted all the bolts once the cage is put together, the doors on the front will make cleaning very easy.
I'm going to have a very happy ferret for Christmas :)"

"I got this cage for my two chins. i use to have the 4-level super pet cage. (the purple with lime green accessories included). but This cage is HUGE! its really heavy duty stuff. i love how i can separate my chins since they fight =/ ...overall i do recommend this cage to anyone. other websites will charge almost 230-300.. i got it for 179.99 on sale. if this goes on sale again. u should grab it! i was lucky to have found it at a local petsmart.
pros: its durable. you can see the difference compared to any cage. i doubt they will display it at the store cuz its so big.! the cage is actually a little taller than i am. i'm about 5'2.. this is made out of steel. dont worry about wear and tear.clean up is also a lot easier. the doors are very convienient cuz they open wide like doors. if you worry abot enough space, this cage is like a mansion for your pet.
cons: its assembly took some time, but once its built it was worth it."

"This cage is wonderful,easy cleaning, my ferrets LOVE IT. I have 8 ferrets, so I plan on expanding it in the future, but for now, the double unit is fine. My ferrets have no problem getting around,and love all the space. On the other hand, This cage took me, and another person 4 hours to assemble.We didn't use the manual. It makes everything so much more confusing.Once it is set up, its a great cage.Best one out there."

"Overall this product is awesome. I have three rats and decided to allow them to live in the mansion they deserve. I went all out and bought the dual-layer one: MORE THAN enough room for three rats. Assembly for me was a breeze and I did it alone. Sure there were some swear words but I don't think it mandates two people. The two things I am not TOO fond of is the shallow pans. Potty-training rats can be difficult, as I am learning. Another is it is pretty low to the ground. GREAT if you have kids and want to allow them to watch your animals. NOT SO GREAT if you have a cat that is just a little TOO curious. Going to buy some hardware cloth tomorrow. Oh, and they are female rats that haven't squeezed through yet. Here's hoping.
High price, I know, but well worth it. I'll never need another cage."

"This is a FANTASTIC cage!
I bought this cage for my 4 rats. This is a great quality cage. Cleaning is a breeze, the shelves are sturdy and don't sag, and I LOVE how the doors swing wide open. The ability to close off a ramp and separate the two areas is great. It makes cleaning easy, especially now that I don't have to move my ratties out to clean the cage.
You can tell the quality of this cage just by looking at it. It took a while to assemble, but the directions were easy to follow. With the wheels, it is easy to move around and is more than enough space for 4 ratties. I wouldn't even bother looking at any other cages in the future. The money is so worth it!"

"After my first cage for my chinchilla was a disaster, I bought this one. Though the pans and the shelves need to be replaced and the ladders tossed since little feet and legs can get caught and broken in them, the outside of it is fantastic for building up your own cage with custom pans and wood shelves. This is REALLY hard to put together though, as I got alot of scratches, some of which have turned into scars."

"I love this cage. It is spacious, easy to clean, and a cinch to access. I lived with a Super Pet Ferret Kingdom cage for three years before I finally got my FN, and the first day that cage spoiled me!
I will admit, though, the first night I put Pixie, my oldest girl, in the cage, I was nervous. I was used to an almost ritualized practice of 'locking' the Super Pet cage that involved snap hooks and zipties, so a cage that promised 'no escapes' and 'secure, single-handed locking mechanisms' seemed to be too good to be true (especially when having such determined escape artists).
But, night after night, Pixie stayed in the cage. There was no opening doors or squeezing through the bars (the latter happened so often in the Super Pet cage that we had to put hard cloth wire around it).
I actually look forward to cleaning, too, since it's so easy! And, now, if I need to separate my ferrets for some reason, I can. It's great--really one of those cages that you look back and wonder why you didn't buy it the first time around."

"I just got this cage after wanting it for the last 2 years. I finally saved the money to buy it and I love it! My previous cage (Super Pet Ferret Kingdom) was a pain to clean. I could never get to the corners of the cage through the small doors. Luckily my ferret uses his litterbox exclusively so it wasn't the end of the world. I love the doors that open the full width of the cage. It makes it so easy to get in and move things around and to clean. It's very sturdy and actually nice looking. Part of the reason for the purchase was the look of it. Moving into a new place with all new furniture, I wanted a more attractive cage. This cage is huge! My other one was big, but too deep. I like how this one is more narrow then my last, but it's wider. It's actually bigger then I though. Easy to assemble too! I put it together on my own in under 45 minutes. Great cage, and I'd highly recommend it!"

"I bought this cage for my chinchillas the other day, and they love it. i have a pregnant chinchilla on my hands. and she was just so excited, i thought she might stres her self out. the only con to this cage is that the instructions are a little frustrating. but i say overall it is a very sturdy well built cage. i would reccomend this to any person with a small animal, except for people with rabbits, cause of the size of the holes."

"I've had this cage for about 2 years now. I have 3 rats and they love it, the cage is huge so they run around like crazy in it. The only problem is they chew the corners of the plastic insert trays, so the very corners of them are almost gone and I will have to replace these soon, I am hopeing I can buy replacement trays?!"
