Pros: easy to use, does not hurt my dog, easy to pull hair out of brush, nice comforted handle
"I love this slicker brush. I got the small one because that way I can comb her armpits without a problem. I've used plenty of brushes in the past, and this is the best by far. My dog is a stickler when it comes to brushing her out because most brushes hurt her. For this brush, she will sit still and roll over so I can comb her belly. She absolutely loves it."

Perfect brush for my dog,

"At this point in time, no one is certain what my puppies hair is going to end up like. We aren't sure if it is going to be long, short, etc. Right now it is about medium length, wavy, but not really curly yet.
This brush works great for his hair. This brush goes right through his rather thick hair. It doesn't pull so hard that it hurts him, and it goes deep into the hair. It makes him look like he just got back from the groomer every time.
My only concern with slicker brushes is the tiny bristles. My puppy is still in a chewing stage and always wants to chew the handle of his brush. So, I have to watch that he doesn't turn around and get hurt by the brush. I am concerned that it may poke him in the eye. So, I always give him a bone to chew on while I brush his hair to keep him occupied. It really helps and is teaching him that it is a fun thing to get his hair brushed."
