I like these type of perches because they remind birds of the outdoors. It also helps trim their nails and keep them happy and healthy. Definitely would recommend to those who want their birds to feel accustomed to nature.

My guys like these perches. Their nice and soft, and the wood is easily stripped by little and big beaks alike.

This is one of my parakeets favorite perches. It is just the right size for them and they love peeling the bark off of it so it keeps their nails and beak trimmed. It is easy to clean as well as I just wipe it down with a wet cloth once a week.
Pros: durable, price, Keeps Nails Trimmed, easy to clean

Tree branches are always recommended over wooden dowels, plastic perches, or sand perches. The tree branches offer varying diameters in a single branch and so massages your birds' feet as he walks along the branch. Not only is it healthy for their feet but it keeps their nails trimmed and also is good for beaks if your bird is a heavy chewer. Mac's creation branches are superb and for their size, the price is right.

These perches are a must have. If I was a bird I would want to stand on this because it is more interesting than a boring dowel. It makes cages look and feel more natural.

This perch is sturdy and attractive. It doesn't tip or bend, despite the long length of the 24" size.
Unfortunately, I mistakenly purchased this for a sugar glider cage. Even though he seems to like it, I have learned that fir is toxic for gliders. Don't make my mistake--leave this to the birds!

I just came back from Petsmart yesterday and bought the 10'' fir perch. My tiel loves natural perches, and as soon as I placed it in his cage he started whistling on it, and even slept on it. I also like how the perch is flat so he can walk straight across.

My birds all enjoy having natural perches to rest their feet on. My finch angel will let you know he is happy standing on it. Very Easy to clean and give it an hour to air dry.

I have three parakeets, two in one cage, the other right beside in a seperate one. The one with the pair in it has the manzinita perch. They love it! I've actually had to move it because they fought over it, now they don't, but they do seem to have trouble sharing the choice spot.
Recommended, great for their feet, and great for some happy little birds!

I got the Manzanita wood perch for my cockatiel. He was a little wary of it but I think it was bacuse the one I picked was rather large and thick. Sadly he passed away, and I just recently got a Quaker. He loves this perch and picked it as his sleeping perch! I like this perch because you KNOW it's from a real tree and it looks so much more attractive than regular old perches. And birds need different widths of perches for their feet so they don't become sore or get the "carpal tunnel" effect on thier feet. I recommend this perch to everyone with a pet bird!

My lovebirds love this perch! They have 2 other perches in their cage, and they only sit on this one! I love how it is a different shape, because it helps keep my birds entertained as they walk up and down it.
