This bottle is a good one for the price, and I'm happy with -almost- every aspect of it. There are two things that I wish we're different. 1 hard to get on the cage, and since I have to refill the bottle daily, this is a hassle. It takes me almost 5 minutes to get the bottle back on the cage and it always wakes my hammie up. 2 it leaks a tiny tiny bit. Not really an issue because it is such a tiny loss of water, it's fine. My hamster can easily drink from it, and that's what matters, so I give this 4 stars.

this is a pretty good product my rats love it i got them 16 oz i normally have to fill it as often as i can since they like fresh water. My alpha rat Ursa climbs the wire of the Kaytee ferret cage and perches on top of it i love this!!

I've always had problems with these types of water bottles but I assumed there had to be one out there that doesn't leak. So I read on the packaging leak proof. Ya right! I filled it up all the way like it says to do, put it up right and out it started flowing. I tried tapping the ball a couple times, sometimes this helps the ball sit just right so it holds the water, but not with this one. Turns out the cheap one that came with my cage worked better than this one(not that it's expensive).

I just bought one of these water bottles for my rats and when I got home, I filled it up and put it in the cage. Then I left for a couple minutes, but when I came back, the ground was soaked and half the water was on the ground. I read the instructions and it said to tighten the lid untill it doesn't move any more, and shake the bottle to get the air out. I did that but it still leaked. I'm definately returning it to get another different one. Maybe some of them don't leak but this one does.

Leaks like a faucet. Should be sold as a hamster shower instead of a water bottle. I bought this one in the store because I noticed that this is the type they were using in their store cages. I figured that this was because they were good ones. But, it is probably because they are cheap ones and they just throw away the ones that leak until they find a non-leaking one!

I do love this a lot! I bought an 8 oz for my ferret, it's easy for him to get and it doesn't leak contrary to what all these reviews are saying! If you seal the lid on tight you should have no problem at all! Easy to clean, durable, and adorable!!

I bought this water bottle because it is inexpensive and not supposed to leak. My bottle does leak a little bit, but I remedied this with a little bowl to catch the drips. unfortunately, my piggy likes to use the restroom in this bowl, but it is okay to clean out. I have a feeling each of these bottles are a bit different, and I just so happened to get one that is a bit loose, but it is okay. The important thing is that my water guzzling piggy gets enough water to keep him hydrated, and this bottle certainly gives him the access and enough water to do the job!

The past water bottles I have used with my previous piggies always leaked. I got the largest size for my two guinea pigs and also a smaller bottle from a different brand. The All Living Things water bottle (this one) did leak at first but only when I refilled it and just popped it back in the cage. After a few seconds, it stops dripping. I like this one better than the other water bottle because it does work well and I LOVE the design of it! :)

I returned it for an exchange and asked that we try out the product b4 I purchase it. Well needless to say every one on the shelf leaked bad. I got this for my four sister rats. They liked to sit on top of it, and that is about the only thing it was good for. I followed the instructions very well, but it was did not work. I would fill it up and by the time I woke up in the morning the whole thing had leaked all over the bottom of the wooden cage. Luckily I had a think layer of bedding that soaked it up and the water didn't warp the bottom to much. This does not work.

I have an aquarium for my guinea pig, because obviously, the cages were expensive.

Anyways, The hook wire thing did not carry the bottle. I have to hold it up for my guinea pig to drink it.

Other problems, when I move the bottle, it leaks sometimes.

even though this water bottle was recommended by allot , i found that my dwarf hamster, Lula, could not push the metal ball up far enough so that she could get a drink. i think that maybe i might have just got a bad one, but i completely respect their decision. well in my opinion i find this water bottle low on quality.

Its ok but id rather a different bottle because the mouth part is huge and my 4 month old, Guinea Pig has trouble getting her whole mouth on it.It holds alot of wateer and it wolud be good for a older guinea pig or rabbit.
