I just bought this product the other day and I am highly pleased with my purchase. This 20 pound bag will suffice for your 20 gallon. The dust is minimal and is easy to spread around. The only downside my picky beardie freaked out when we took away his carpet, he got used to it when we bribed him to leave his log with crickets.

Pros: good product for the price

Cons: none!

It was okay, but my tortoise wasn't crazy about it. I'm getting hermit crabs soon and I tried to put water on it to make it look like a beach. Big mistake! Now it's all clumpy and is still wet after three days! The main good thing though is that it does look like tropical sand. Others have said that it stains their pet, so I would'nt take any chances If I were you!

Cons: dusty, clumps and floats when wet

This sand made me pull out my hair. My beardie likes to dig and when she would dig, her skin would turn white until she shed that skin off. I sift the sand daily and when you sift this sand, it clouds up and causes the room to fill with dust. I found a lot of this dust on the ceiling fan of my room. Once again, NEVER BUY THIS SAND!

I used this sand for my leopard gecko and it doesn't even compare to the Repti-sand I used previously. It doesn't cut odor and it's very grainy and hard to sift. Also, the undertank heater doesn't heat this sand like it does with the repti-sand. I'm going back to the other sand.

This is a wonderful natural sand. I have 14 hermit crabs and they love to dig around in it and it makes their tank look like a day at the beach.

I bought this for my pictus gecko Penelo when I came home one day and found her frantically trying to dig a holes on her rocks, and repticarpet. She's been using this sand for over a year now. She's healthy, happy, and no longer trys to dig holes on solid objects.

I love this sand and so does my geckos. I have 2 leopard geckos and i have one on it for about a month and i just put my other on it this week. This sand looks nice and the grains aren't relly big so that also means there is less likely a chance of gut impaction. It looks real but the one bad thing about it is it creates alot of dust when u put it in the tank so slowly put it in there and then wait till all the dust is out of the air before puting ur lizard or snake on it. It really bothers them. But it is easy to clean so it is worth it.
