I have had to buy two of these bulbs in the last 3 months the first time i bought one it lasted for a long time but now the bulbs don't last. I don't mind spending $10 on a light bulb but the fact of spending it on a bulb that doesn't work gets a little ridiculous.
Cons: price, didn't work

I did not touch the top of the bulb and it still burnt out within a couple of weeks. I tried three different ones and it was the same way. You get what you pay for.

I have 4 large tanks housing a variety of animals from ball pythons to a chameleon, and this is a great basic heating bulb. This bulb has NO UVB, but that's not what it's for, it's for heating. There are a lot of reviews on here saying that it doesn't last for very long, but you will have this problem with every single type of heating bulb if you touch the bulb directly. DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS OF THE BULB. It greatly shortens the life of it, if you don't touch it it will last much much longer. Apparently this has something to do with the oils that naturally occur on your skin, but many enthusiasts I know have mentioned this as well. However, while this is a great basic heating bulb, it is a fragile one, and the filament can become detached with even a slight bump. Cost outweighs the danger if you know what you're doing. Enjoy the bulb but remember to put a UVB in too for animals that need it.

I like this bulb but it burns out to soon. It work very well but you will end up having to replace it sooner than what you might have thought.

I purchased the 50 watt bulb of this product. It works great for my leopard gecko. This product has a amazingly economical price for how long it lasts and how well it works. I would recommened this product to anyone looking for a good heat sorce with a tight bugget or wanting to save a little money.

Bought first one for classroom turtles and it lasted two days. Plus it broke apart when I tried to unscrew it. Thought I just got a bum one and bought another. It lasted a day. Then I read the reviews and found out others had problems with it. Going to get something different.

put bulb in lamp dome with a cloth to avoid oily finger prints affecting bulb... plugged lamp in.. BULB instantly POPPED AND CRACKED! RETURNED IT, got replacement...
after finally replacing
we have 18x36 tank, needed a 125 degrees ideal to 115 minimal temperature for our basking area... with one 150 watt couldnt get temp barely past 100 (and that was with basking rock at 11 inches from light and heat light being on for hours.. chart said 18inch 150watt should get us around 120.... i know our house a/c is a factor but having the tank upstairs should have less effect with a/c (its always hot upstairs)
ended up having to use a double bulb set up with a white 150watt and a infrared 100watt to now get 122-123 degrees in a baseball size spot and the surrounding area at about 118 degrees

I bought a bulb by all living things. I had to buy a new bulb every other week because they kept burning out! I never tried a different brand thinking, "Why buy a more expensive brand if it will just burn out, too?" Finally, I saw that other people were having problems with this brand and tried another. I would NOT recommend this product to any herp keeper.

I've been raising reptiles for 14 years and have tried many brands of heat lamp bulbs. I tried 2 of the 150 watt All Living Things brand, mostly because the price was good. Unfortunately, both burned out after only 6-8 weeks of use. All other brands I have used have lasted 4-6 months with the same number of hours per day. Spend extra bucks and get a different brand.

This bulb is a waste of money. It burned out within the first two weeks. It doesn't last. I replaced it with a ZooMed Rept Basking Spot Lamp. I've had that one for about a month and it's is working like new. I would recommend that one.
