Worth the Cost,

Pros: heats fast lasts long
"I know that your first thought is to avoid these heaters because 1.) The cost is a bit high 2.) The heater does not emit light; however I beg to differ.
I have a uromastyx who requires high heat in her basking area and this little guy does the trick. It heats up quick and efficiently. Make sure that you're careful when using it so that you don't burn yourself or so that you don't remove the heater and set it on something before it cools because it will burn your wooden floor or your dresser. Also, be gentle when you remove it is ceramic.
These things last for a REALLY long time. I have had mine now for a little over two years, which makes it worth the cost. I have a happy lizard, so I am happy.
(A sidenote: I purchased mine at the store and did not realize that there was a crack in it. Make sure that you check it over before you buy it, or if you buy online make sure you check it for cracks.)"

"This is an excellent ceramic heater!! We have a 100 watt one and it heats our 10 gallon to the desired temperature with no problem. It warms up quickly when first turned on also. We definitely recommend it for other reptile pet parents for their habitat heating needs."
