I use this on my 75 gallon beardie enclosure, during the day I pop in a UVB spiral bulb and at night I put in infrared red night bulb. This heat dish keeps the uvb and heat well distributed. And the big dish fits any bulb small to large. Haven't had any breaks.

Good While It Lasted

When we first got it the clamp broke and was impossible to fix/put on. Then it worked wonderfully for a bout a day... The next day it completely stopped working. Im going to return it and get a new one. Maybe a second will work.

Pros: emitts great heat, great light

Cons: stoped working, impossible clamp, easily broken clamp

I got this lamp and let me tell you one thing it has survived through numerous falls.. Since my chameleon is sort of a night owl the glow feature keeps him nice a toasty... Although it gets extremley hot, the clamp ( If you can put it together) provides, that if you jave a plastic cover, it won't melt it... Which it did do to my tank.... Not a light to have around small children!

It works fine, I couldn't use the clamp, but it's fine without it. The glow is an excellent feature, although the lamp gets VERY hot, quickly. It does its job.
