This infrared heat lamp is an excellent 24 hour heat source, because it will not disrupt your reptile's normal day/night cycle.

I have this bulb in my 75 gallon terrarium and it makes a great hot spot for my beardie. I need to get another heat bulb for the other side of the tank since its getting too cold. This product is a great value and heats up half of the tank. My house has poor heating which is why I need two on that tank. If you have a warm house or smaller tank one would be perfect.
I found and rescued a snake that seemed to be hit with a shovel, and this was i heat bulb i got her. It works well, kept her warm, and dod not get super hot and burned out like several other bulbs i have tried.

It worked well, got hot, quick, just as expected. What I didn't expect, was for it to burn out shortly after. That's $20 bucks I'm out. I guess I'll be looking for new bulb, I don't like replacing bulbs after 3 months.
Pros: easy to install, works great

I read the reviews before I purchased this product thought it was a good choice. I only had this light since 12/10 and only turned it on at night for my Boa and light is now dead. I don't think 3 months of usage was long enough so I will be talking to my local pet store about this. Not sure if I'll chance this brand again.
My turtle likes this light. I use it all the time so he can nap without it bothering him. Gives off enough heat for him.

I originally came to the site to purchase a single replacement bulb for my heat lamp, but ended up purchasing four just because the price was so great!
I've used this item for years and it's been excellent without fail.
Pros: easy to use, quick set-up, long lasting

I've had this bulb for almost a year now, and I like it. I use it with a clamp light on my hermit crabs *100watt* and it keeps their tank at perfect temperature, as long as your careful not to leave it on too long. It does get overly hot if its on for more than 10 hours though. I keep their tank at 80Degrees Fahrenheit.
On the other hand, my leopard gecko has a screen cage cover, and his lamp sit directly on top of it. It gets up to the 100's in less than a half hour! Thats good in some cases, but not for my leopard gecko. A 75 watt would be a better choice on my part though. My gecko likes the 75watt Exo Terra Night Glo Moonlight the best... I use it for a 24 hour cycle, and I've had it for over a year. He won't even go under The Exo Terra Heat Glo Infrared. My bad...
Pros: perfect temperature if watched, 24 hour cycle at right wattage, hermit crabs love it
These bulbs are great for heating tanks all day and night. I keep a red-eared slider in my classroom, which gets very cold in the winter. The first year, she started to go partially into hibernation, even with a water heater and a broad spectrum UV bulb. Once this infrared bulb was added, it became summer all year round! The 75 watt provides enough heat to keep a large 70 gallon tank warm enough even in a room that averages around 55-60 degrees (F).

I bought this b/c the lady in petsmart told me it would be the best. She was right! My leopard gecko loves it and I keep it as a 24/7 light fixture. He is always active at night and b/c geckos can't see red it doesn't affect his day/night cycle. I would highly reccomad this for a leopard gecko.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all reptile keepers. These bulbs are an excellent heat source and don't attract as much algae as the regular day bulbs do! Your reptile will love it! I use these bulbs for my RES tank and they love it!! 2 thumbs way up!
its a nice feature to your reptile tank. 50 watts i use for the summer and 75 watts during the winter. nice way to keep your gecko heathly happy and a nice color to display it. i would reccomend it to every reptile owner in the world.
