We bought this bulb it didnt heat to the degree listed... not even 3 weeks after buying it burned out!!!!! next ill try a cheaper brand since obviously expensive ones arent any good...

too much directed heat

This light bulb seemed awesome when I got it, but I soon realized that it focused too much heat (duh, intense heat!). Though it wasn't the right product for me, it's still great!

We have purchased two of these within a month. They do not last long at all. For the price it should be lasting a few months atleast.

I bought the 75 watt bulb for my red eared slider and he loves basking under it. It gives off a great amount of heat and the beam is very tight so all of the light and heat goes directley under it. Excellent bulb.

This light is a very nice light the only problem is that is doesn't last long. I would recommend buying two so that when the other bulb blows out you can have a spare one on hand. This way your not driving to Petsmart at 8:00 pm at night trying to replace it for the next morning.

I have found that this lightbulb lasts about three months. Longer than most I have tried. Although all lightbulbs I have tried don't seem to last long enough for the price.
