It's economic food. Seems to be one of the better brands out there in the stores. As always, keep it as part of a balanced mix of dry foods and other food sources. My turtles find the food interesting and go for it and eat it. Leaves a lot of refuse behind, but that's normal for aquatic turtles. They love to chomp and chomp away. Sometimes a piece floats and gets stuck somewhere behind a filter or floating dock, and that's where the mess comes from most of the time. Put that's the same for every food. The turtles have a good 5-10 minutes to eat this food before dissolves and breaks apart, so it's not that bad. The company seems to make quite a few products that have found their way into my aquarium. Docks, logs, incandescent bulbs, canned and dry foods. The inedible products are well designed, durable, and really attract my turtles. The foods are tasty (for a turtle I assume) because they always show interest. :)

Ive had this food for about a month and my RES loves to eat it. It has all the nutrition a turtle needs to grow healthy. This product is a good buy to anyone.

I have two 15 year old turtles who love this food. It is one of three brands I use for them so that they don't get burnt out on one food and they eat it from my hand just as they do any of the other two. Plus it doesn't leave a residue in their tank if it dissolves.

This stuff stinks. I had a musk turtle a while back and he wouldn't touch it! I think the only reason he did eat it is because he was starving himself and he didn't have anything else to eat!
