"This is better than the other company on the market for two reasons:
IT IS REMOVABLE! yes! it attaches with scotch tape around the edges and you can take it off if you want to use the tank for something else or clean it!

it is safe on plastic!
it is made with plastic in mind.

yes it costs a few dollars more than the competion it is a better product (I own it and a ZOOMED one)"

"This product works well for hermit crabs! Be sure your tank will meet the size specifications. Also, it's a good idea to have 1-2 inches of substrate to protect them from direct contact with the heat pad. I noticed it get's relatively hot, a timer might not be a bad investment either. Overall, it's a good product. Does what it's supposed to do and does it well!
