I want to buy two more and the smaller one similar to it to build a reef for my other aquarium but they are sold out :-( Have to wait for more. I have exhausted the possibilities to build a reef on the net and in my opinion nothing is nicer or more cost effective. A lot of them are neon coloured and dont look real. this one is colourful and looks believable... A great product and im not surprised its sold out right now at both stores in London Ontario!

Just got this piece for my 65 gallon African Cichlid tank and it looks great and the fish love it .You get what you pay for I dont feel like I spent more then its worth .

Amazing for non-normal "fish"

I breed "sea monkeys" for feeding and I have a 40 gallon tank with THOUSANDS of sea monkeys (they are actually shrimp). I upgraded my old 25 gallon into a hermit "crabitat" I bought a 40. It was so empty and I had plants but I sold most of my old decor so I bought this instead. GREAT BUY. I can breed thousands at a time and the babys tend to love to swim through the piece. I find it easy to find eggs on this piece so I collect and dry them out for resale (I sell the eggs locally as well I sell pre made aquariums for monkeys). I will move this piece to my other aquarium when I get it ready and I will switch to fake plants as it is easier for the babies to swim in that but over all, good buy!

We recently set up a 20 gallon African cichlid tank (with sand substrate) and my husband & I were looking for something that will give the fish privacy, be a focal point in the tank, add colour and look natural. I love the looks of saltwater tanks and wanted to replicate that without the huge expense + work. I found ths piece last week on this site, read all the reviews, showed my husband and we bought it last night ($69.99).

We absolutely agree with the positive reviews!!! Looks SO nice and adds SO much colour, not only to the tank, but to our living room as well! Looks natural (specially with the sand and the real seashells we have). The corals glow under the blue night light and the piece actually enhances the colour of my fish too!

MUST BUY!!!!

The only problem I have is that I'm trying to find fish that can show up against it! My orange fish that's 3-4 inches long stands out, but with this and my solid blue background I can barely see my black fish. I'm thinking I need some white or yellow fish maybe?? It looks great though and makes the room and tank look amazing!

I just set up my first 20 gal fish tank and this fits perfectly in it. I can't believe I bought for only $39 at the after Christmas sale! It looks great and my fish love it :) just make sure you don't buy one that is already broken that was put back on the shelf.

I bought this decoration and it looks BEAUTIFUL!!! I absolutely love the look of it among the plants, and my fish seem to enjoy the hiding spaces.

My only problem is that I have several loaches, and they enjoy hiding. I didn't realize when I put this in my tank that there was a large hole in the bottom for water movement. Well, 2 of my loaches mysteriously disappeared, and after removing every single thing in the aquarium and upsetting my fish, only after I replaced the coral ornament into the aquarium did one of the loaches reappear just as mysteriously. The second reappeared 3 days later. I don't know if they got themselves trapped in there or just came out when I wasn't around to see, but I am definitely going to be covering the hole now!

One other small complaint - I have noticed that (4 weeks after purchase) some of the coloration of the "rock" has been fading and turning white.

Otherwise, great product!

This is beautiful but the airstone was broken when i plugged it in to my pump, but that was a fluke and petsmart replaced it. Other than that it is a high quality piece of decor and i love it as well as my catfish they just cuddle up in a hole sometimes.

Most people put this in larger tanks. I managed to fit this product perfectly into a 10 gal. I used black sand at the bottom and covered the back of the tank in a black background. I ran some black airline tubing down the back and attached it to the back wall with clear airline tubing holders. The heater hid perfectly behind the taller portion of the ornament. Using LED lighting, i can switch from day(white) to night(blue) lighting run on a timer. After all was said and done, this piece looks phenomenal in the tank. The colors pop, equipment is concealed and my little freshwater tank looks like a nano-reef. Even when my friends visit, many of them would stare at the tank as opposed to the 55" TV three feet away from it. couldn't be happier with this purchase :)

Colors are awesome. It is a bit large for my 20 gallon aquarium but it is okay.
