Beautiful, but not durable

I really wanted to like this decoration it was gorgeous, and made my tank really beautiful, however it didn't last long. I have a fairly large tank with quite a bit of traffic and soon after I put it in the tank the paint began to just kind of dissolve. It was very odd, it didn't peel or chip, it just dissolved. Soon after the paint went one of the legs broke off. Maybe I just got a defective one?

I recently got 2 oranda goldfish that ended up having to be separated. Zazu has this on his side of the tank and loves to swim around the legs and hang out under the little cave area. Sometimes he even sticks his head in the upper area to get a look around. Looks great in my aquarium but ended up being the center of attention because it is a little bulky. Perfect for an active fish who just needs some privacy.
