I use this product on my 1 year old cat and 14 week old kitten (both strictly outdoors). After 3-4 days they no longer scratch themselves and I do not see a single flea on them. Neither of my cats has ever had a tick or mosquito on them. The only problem I can find is a large greasy spot at the application site that gets very dirty since my cats live outside, but I have noticed that after a week the grease spot dissolves on its own. I think the grease has the purpose to keep the medicine on the skin longer so more gets absorbed in the skin. So if the greasiness is to keep the medicine on longer, I don't mind a bit. Overall great product and much cheaper than Frontline.

Does not dry fast at all. Created a greasy neck for all of my cats that lasted a few days. The cats need to be combed daily to remove LIVE fleas and the flea dirt. No ticks yet, but will not use this product again when it comes time for reapplication. This is one area (topical flea treatment) that I will no longer try to be frugal in. I will go back to Frontline Plus.

Indoor cats got fleas on a camping trip. Used this stuff because it was less harsh than other products. Bottom line is it did not work. Every day for 14 days I have combed live fleas off my 4 cats after applying this greasy product.

I have a strictly indoor cat, but my roommate has a dog who unfortunately brought fleas into the house. My cat was covered in flea dirt, larvae, etc before I put this on her. She actually seems to have more since using this product. She was greasy for days and looked awful after putting this on her neck. It was definitely a waste of money. I actually had gone to Petsmart looking for something else, but it was out of stock, so I was stuck with getting this stuff. I would definitely NOT recommend this to anyone.

I just finished my secound box of this. I find that it is great and got rid of all but one or 2 flees. I use it on my cats about every 20 days. The more you use it the better it starts to work. I will keep buying this. I even noticed less ticks! Befor i was useing the kind that you mix with there food and it did nothing. I am so glad to have found a cheap great flee med!

Ive now used this flea drop medication twice and it hasnt worked 100% either time. The first time I thougth I didnt do it right and didnt get enough of the drops on his skin but the second time I made sure to do it correct and it didnt improve much. If your looking for a cheap flea medication similar to advantage then you need to stop being cheap and just get advantage or wait till you can afford advantage. Either way your going to wish you got advantage. But there are LESS fleas on the cat than if I hadnt have used the product. Ill give Sentry that much.

This was useless! It did nothing for my cats.I have 3 and I put one dose on each.that was almost 2 weeks ago...guess what....they are still itching with fleas. I don't get how they are able to sell a product that doesn't even work. Waste of money...save yourself the trouble and stay away.

Used product as directed along with treating house, furniture and yard as instructed. We have indoor cats, and this product did not work at all. Save your money and buy something else.
Used Frontline and the fleas are finally in retreat!

My cat got out one night and came back with fleas. I went to the pet store and bought this and put it on him. I waited a couple of days and decided to check him and it seemed like he had more fleas then before. This stuff does not work, so don't waste your money!

don't waste your money on this product. i used it for 3 months in a row and my cat still has fleas and it also leaves a greasy spot for days, which drives my cat crazy. just spend the extra money on something that actually works, like advantage.

I have applied all 3 applications of this product to my cat and it has only been 6 weeks. He still has fleas and they are getting worse, tomorrow I will be getting advantage or frontline...whatever the vet recomends...i would only buy this product if you are looking to waste money and not actually get rid of fleas...

I normally buy Advantage, however I had a "flea emergency" and wasn't able to see my vet for a few days. I decided to purchase this from the vet clinic inside of Petsmart, as they said this was the only product they had (and recommended) for cats.
I put this on my cat two days ago, and while the number of fleas has diminished greatly (I also flea bombed the house and gave her a flea bath before, though), I am still pulling live and energetic fleas off of her.
I would say that, if in a bind, this product works just okay. But I would definitely recommend Advantage or Frontline over this any day.
