When I lost Bandit (the younger of my two ferrets) a few weeks ago, Bump went on a hunger strike. He just would not eat. After day 1, I started him on ferretvite. It was literally all he would eat for nearly 2 weeks. Then he started eating his kibble. If it were not for Ferretvite I can say without hesitation that I would have lost Bump too. It's helped all of my ferrets at one time or another when they were sick. Thank you 8 in 1...

My ferrets love love love this product!! They will climb on top of each other pushing and shoving trying to get to it first! It's really great if your ferret gets ill also, it will really help them put weight on and maintain the weight. It's a must have as a ferret owner :)

My ferret Frankie had to be rushed to the pet ER because his blood glucose levels were fatal. They pumped him full of sugar and now I give him ferretvite to keep him at normal. It is keeping him alive, and he loves it.

I have several ferrets, but in this case, I had aquired two ferrets who were vicious biters. I have trained them to stop biting using this stuff. They will literally stop whatever they doing just to get at the tube.

Pros: ferrets are obsessed with it!

My ferret is very active and I can never get him to sit still. I use this to occupy him while I cut his nails. He LOVES it!!!! As long as he is eating this I gain a few minutes of calm to cut his nails without any squirming. The best part is that it's vitamines, so it's good for him instead of having to bribe him with treats. It's a necessity for ferret care in my house!

Great for very active ferrets!

My ferret has run of the house most of the time, and she loves to run, play, jump, climb all over the place....and dances around with the kids or the cats or dogs. (Yes, I have quite a few pets!) Being so very active, she has a hard time keeping up her weight. Anytime she starts to get too thin, I add this supplement to her diet for a week or so, and she'll get back up to a good weight. She loves this product. I keep this in stock at our house.

This product is great for sick or old rats who need that extra boost and NEED the high calories to gain weight (especially great for those that refuse to eat - they almost never turn this down). They love the taste of it - I even tried out how it tastes and it's not bad - unlike some other similar products like this.

Ferrets really do love this stuff, but be careful how much you use! It's really high in sugar. If you're looking for a daily supplement, try Ferretone, but this is ok for a small, once-in-a-while treat.
