I bought this for my new baby girl and the first day she flat our rejected it. Tried it again and she nibbled at it. This went on for like 4 days. Now she enjoys it. I wouldn't feed this as a main diet but as an add in every once in awhile. If you do decide to try this start out with one can and only give a little bit each day until your pet makes a decision.

I recently bought a 5 week old ferret at a private location in which he was only fed dry food. He began acting as if he wanted to nurse so we purchased this food with milk. He instantly fell in love, has stopped the nursing habit, and can now eat dry food without the usual wine.

I bought a couple cans if the chicken-flavored cans for my two ferrets and neither of them would touch it. I even tried dabbing it on their tongues and mixing it with their daily dry food, Marshal Premium Ferret Diet and they wouldn't eat it. Not sure about the beef flavored cans though...
