"Our cat had a bladder infection and decided to make us aware of the fact by urinating in two of our laundry baskets . . . the day after laundry day. This meant ALL of our favorite clothes were soaked (within two days, the first of which we didn't realize she was doing this).
First try: soaked TWICE for ten hours in a vinegar solution w/ Oxyclean. Didn't work. Soaked one shirt individually in vinegar water, also didn't work.
I did my research on products and finally chose this one. Added to soaking machine load TWICE, but only slightly toned down horrible cat-urine smell.
However, finally bit the bullet and did EACH article of clothing individually (one part of this product to about ten parts water) . . . made sure they were totally saturated for at least two minutes, hand-agitated for about five . . . then threw the entire load in the wash again.
This worked! So although it's not a quick fix, it was the ONLY thing that worked to save my clothes. (And yes, of course we took our cat to the vet as soon as we realized she was having issues.)"

"I tried just about everything I could get my hands on to remove cat stains from my chair and right before I threw it away I tried this stuff and it actually worked. Then I thought it was just that I used all the other chemicals first and that is why it worked, but it the cat did it again and this stuff work after one bottle."

Simple Solution Stain and Odor Remover,

"This product is truly fantastic! I have tried the other products but they were not as effective as this was. Make sure, however that when you apply the product you will get the best effect if you do the following: 1) after removing the excess soil i.e., vomit, blot the spot with a clean rag (or paper towel). 2) spray the area WELL 3) let it sit for at LEAST 10 min; 4) take a clean white CLOTH (NOT a paper towel) and blot the area (with your foot if necessary) and repeat the blotting several times if needed. The key is to use a cloth (ie, towel turned into a rag) NOT a paper towel after item #1. A cloth makes the world of difference. Also, the longer the time the product works (after you spray the soiled area) the more effective it is -- just don't let it sit REAL long, i.e., more than 30 min."
