Very good clippers,

Pros: easy and effective; the dvd helped. Cons: not as quiet as other reviews suggest but not bad
"I bought these clippers to groom my mom's dog, a feisty Springer Spaniel. I've never groomed a dog before. The instructional DVD was very helpful, though I chuckled at how still the video dogs stood. I had no such luck with mom's dog, but still managed to do a very nice job. After charging the clippers for the required 24-hrs, the clippers held the charge long enough for me to do the entire job, giving the dog a few breaks for treats and for me to brush the fur out of the clippers. The clippers worked very well, even through dense fur. I used the #2 guide throughout for a neat, short cut. This was much less traumatic for this dog than going to the groomer's, plus I saved Mom $45. It was wonderful to have cordless clippers so I could do this outside on the deck, plus not have as much cleanup as I'd have in the house."

GREAT FOR CATS TOO ! !,

"I've been using this for a couple of weeks now. My American Bobtail has a VERY dense undercoat is not one to be held and have things other than a friendly pet administered on him. Being cordless it gave him one less thing to be destracted by. I charged it up overnight and then just lay it on the bed and let him inspect it and smell it. Then I turned it on and left it while he re-inspected it. I started clipping when he climbed on my lap and got the mats out a bit at a time. I didn't force him to hold still and let him go when I could tell he had enough. Each time he allowed me to trim him more. The last time he even lay on his back so I could trim his stomach undercoat!! Sometimes I give him a "treat" by just rubbing it against him and use it like a vibrator so he likes it even more. A trim and a massage. What more can a cat want? EVERYTHING ! :) You can't go wrong buying this clipper to use on your cats !"

"I purchased this clipper set last summer for my cranky long-haired cat. She hardly even tolerates being brushed, even with the most gentle of techniques, therefore when she begins to shed, the massive mats come fast and furious. What a plus to have a cordless clipper! But the real benefit is the soothing low hum and gentle vibration that allow me to sneak the matted area off the coat, without her complaining, or retaliating. One trip to a groomer cost me almost as much as this little device, and I'll get many years of use from this. Well worth the investment!!"

"Great goes threw my dogs hair with ease and does not snag his skin like some cheep clippers but my yorkie ate the soft plactic blades within 15 seconds plasic could be harder to make it harder to be torn up but this product is still ghrat and i would buy it again just be mopre careful next time"

"I have a hard time finding clippers that will cut through the hair of my minature schnauzer, but these clippers did the job with no problem at all. They are just great. Plenty of power and easy to handle. No pulling or snagging on the hair. They just cut right through."
