I purchased this product to use in between gromings for my Shih Tzu, I wanted to use it around his eyes as that is where he has an issue in between groomings. The product stopped working when I was trying to trim the hair around his eyes, I had to replace the battery right away and it still would stop working. There was not that much that had to be done so I do not know why it would just stop, could not even get through the little bit of hair I needed it to. I ended up having to use a pair of blunt end scissors to to the job. I have seen other great reviews on this product, but I am very disappointed, total waste of money. I was excited because it was small and looked like it would be easy to use so now I have to try something else and hope I don't waste money again.

Pros: small and fits nicely in your hand

Cons: does not do the job

I'm happy with this product. It's small, runs on one battery, and has limited uses because of its size, but ones that I need. I trim my Shih-Tzu's muzzle and the bottom of her feet with it. She got used to the sound and vibration of it quickly. Could be used to trip a man's sideburns, too.
