"We bought the entire stars and moon reflective set. The Harness, Collar, and Lead. Our vet and everyone else complimented on our fashionable kitty, lol. Yes, the break away does come loose easily, how ever, it has saved my cat twice now. :)"

won't stay fastened for long,
March 2, 2008

"I have bought a few of these collars and liked them a lot at first because of their reflective and fashionable quality -- for example, the white-on-black moon & stars collar looks great on my black and white tuxedo cat. But I have been disappointed to find that the break-away fastener very quickly loses its fastening power. Some of my cats have daily wrestling matches, and as a result frequently lose their breakaway collars (which is one reason I love breakaways in general). But after about the third 'wrestling match' with this particular kind of fastener, I have to throw the collar away because it just won't stay closed. If it could just be made a little more secure, it would be perfect."

I Found Better,
September 8, 2007

"Cute collar, but not reflective enough. Also my cat lost it in about a week. It's nice that these collars are safe, but they do breakaway very easily. If you're cat is going outdoors invest in a collar that is all reflective as opposed to just the stars and moons."

This collar is horrible!,

"I have an indoor/outdoor cat and he only had the collar on for three days before it came off! Now I have to get a new registration tag for the town I live in, rabies tag from the vet, and a new tag with his information! If you have an indoor/outdoor cat or an indoor cat you are a afraid will "escape", choose another collar for your beloved kitty."

Adorable safety collar,
August 20, 2007
by Jennybear
from Las Vegas
"My cat has the black collar with stars and moons, which looks great on him. It was easy to put on and adjust and is comfortable enough that he doesn't try to take it off. I found a few problems with the design though. The collar has to be removed by releasing the safety buckle. Unless I am missing something this involves pulling the buckle apart annoying the cat and weakening the buckle. I noticed a few in the store were so weak they wouldn't stay shut hanging on the rack. I also found the "removable bell" difficult to remove with a pair of pliers. There is also no loop to hang an ID tag as I have had on previous collars. It is a good collar and quite fashionable, but could use a few improvements."

"We bought this collar for our cat, Buttercup and it's a great reflective collar. She is an outdoor cat so sometimes she is out at night. This reflective collar makes us worry less and it fits her great!"

Cute collar but not I would not recommend it.,

"Although it is a cute collar and it fits my cats pretty good I would not recommend it because it breaks easily. Both of my cats had lost theirs in the first week of wearing them. I found out both of the collars had broken the hook."
