Multi-Cat Household, November 29, 2006
by Busymom from California

"As an owner of 5 indoor-only cats, this litter has been a life-saver. After we moved to our new place with 4 cats, our youngest fixed male cat decided to spray to claim his new territory. Just terrific. New house, nasty smells. The carpet cleaning bills were adding up.

I found this litter at PetSmart and decided to try it. We had tried everything else, including multiple, meticulously clean boxes placed strategically thoughout the house; as well as an expensive calming topical treatment for the particular cat. The litter was highly attractive and pleased all four of the cats immediately.

It has worked so well that we rescued a tiny kitten from my in-laws' vehicle undercarriage; and have been able to raise her successfully in our multi-cat household. Recently, an outspoken relative walked into the house and proclaimed to her husband, "Oh honey, it doesn't even smell like cat in here"! I could only imaging the conversation leading up to that statement. As a cat lover, I was actually relieved to hear her remark, and chalked it up to an excellent litter product.

From the youngest 6 week old kitten to our eldest 12 year old veteran, our cats love this litter."

20 lb bag lasts a long time, November 23, 2006
by ElaineS from Los Angeles, CA

"This is the best litter out there. No dust, no perfume, clumps great, stays clean & lasts a long time, cats can't wait to use it, doesn't cling to paws & less airborne litter when Big Boy does his ferocious digs."

A miracle product!, October 1, 2006
by Leesa from Evansville, Indiana

"I rescued a kitten that was abandoned by its mother. The vet estimated the kitten to be 3 weeks old. It only weighed one half pound. I replaced the kitty litter that I was using with Cat Attrack and within seconds the cat was using the litter box. It loves its box now. We were getting nowhere with traditional litters. My kitty is now three weeks older and completely litter trained and was since the first second i switched. I find it truly amazing that a kitten that young would be able to be trained that easily!"

Great product--it really attracts!, September 26, 2006
by OwnedByACat from Chicago, IL

"I could not be more satisfied with Cat Attract. Before I started using it, my new kitten ignored his litter box, preferring to go to the bathroom under my bed (yuck). Only minutes after I replaced the ordinary litter with Cat Attract, he jumped into the litterbox and used it, and has been using it happily ever since. In addition, the clumping and odor-controlling properties are excellent."

Saved Fig's Life, September 16, 2009
by FigueroandMiasMom from Fort Worth, Texas

Pros: clumping odorless great odor control cats love
Cons: have to drive too far to get it... well worth it!

"So I love my cats but after we moved 800 miles 3 yrs ago our then 6 yr old cat started urinating on clean laundry in the basket. Then a year later we added a second cat. We've just completed our 3rd move in 3 yrs and added a baby 4 months ago. Needless to say Figuero was going bonkers!!! Thankfully he only urinated on clothes, towels, jackets, backpacks... but not on the carpet. For years it was just those items that happened to be on the floor. After the baby came, he would actually jump up on the dryer and go on freshly cleaned and folded clothing. That was it!!!! With our new baby, cleanliness was already an issue, but this sent me over the edge. Our sweet indoor cat was about to become an outdoor cat.

We tried everything... behavior training, new litter, vet visit, etc. Then I heard that there was a spray you could put on your litter that attracted the cat to it. We I came on the website to research it, I found this litter. It's only a dollar or so more than the litter we were already using, so I thought I'd give it a try. I went out that day to get it.

That was a week and half ago. Not one single accident since!!!!!!! I don't know if it'll last, but over a week without an accident was worth the price tag already! Not only does Fig love it, but our other cat Mia who wasn't having any issues loves it too. I can't keep her out of it. After a couple of days with no accidents, I actually set Fig up for failure. I put a basket of dirty towels on the floor 2 feet from the litter box. This would have been like heaven for him before. It was there a week... He didn't even hop in the basket, much less urinate in there!!

Oh, but besides it being a miracle for Fig, it's a really great litter. It clumps great and we've even gone a couple of days without de-clumping it, and no smell whatsoever.

This is by far the best pet product I have ever purchased!!!"

THE BEST CAT LITTER EVER!, August 27, 2009
by mommyof2beautifulkitties from The SUNSHINE state

Pros: no dust, it works!
Cons: a little high in price, not flushable

"My 1 year old cat was having accidents with the previous litter I was using. I tried "World's best cat litter" and "yesterdays news" when I had her declawed. With both, she would always go #2 outside the box on the rug. I decided to try this litter and ever since, there hasn't been a single accident! Our new kitten loves it too! The litter is made of clay, but isn't very dusty at all and there is no odor. It's great stuff! Definitely worth the money!"

It's a miracle!, August 26, 2009
by sequin from Texas

"We have a household with two neutered male cats, both are 100% indoors. The older of the two is eight and he is the definite leader. A few years ago, he took exception to his reduced calorie diet and expressed his displeasure by leaving his "deposits" on the mats outside the litter box. Then, after a few months, our other cat decided to start playing "follow the leader" so we had a stinky mess every day. We tried adding more litter boxes, removing the lids, scooping multiple times per day, etc., and nothing worked. We had just about resigned ourselves to this undesirable behavior.

Then, I read about Cat Attract and thankfully a PetSmart had just opened in our area. We gave it a try and it worked from the very beginning. It's as if our cats look for any excuse or reason now to get into the litter box.

It is truly a miracle product. Worth every penny."

Not worth $$$$$, August 11, 2009
by Anonymous from Sacramento, CA

Cons: it is too expensive

"I bought this product because I have a cat that after almost two years has just started to use my living room as his own person litter box. I did just as the label suggested and he would not go near the litter boxes at all. It was a waste. Now my cat has to stay locked up when I am away from the house or while I sleep at night. Not fair to him or me. My vet said it is not medical. I am so frustrated because I have never had a cat do this."

Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract litter, June 6, 2009
by crickcat from Jasper, AL

"This product is wonderful!! Several months ago, I changed my 7 year old cat's litter to a brand she apparently didn't like. After that, she began to defecate exclusively outside of the litter box. I tried changing litters, bought a new litter box, and even tried to use a second litter box. Nothing worked! Then I found Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract litter. It has made a huge difference! She immediately began using her litter box again. I have been using Dr. Elsey's for 2 months now, and I am convinced it is the greatest product ever!"

Miracle Product, April 8, 2009
by Anonymous from Schertz, Texas

"I read other reviews about this litter claiming that it was amazing... let me tell you, it is!! I have had a male cat for almost 6 years. For the past 1 1/2 years he has made it a routine habit to use the floor, hardly ever using his litter box. We had to keep him in his own room because it was getting so bad. We would take him to the vet and they said it was a behavioral problem. I bought him a new litter box and this Cat Attract litter. About two minutes after I showed it to him... he used it! And he's been using it consistently. This stuff is great. It's almost like he's excited to use his litter box. I would say, if you are having problems with your cat not using the box, give this stuff a try. I will never use another litter ever again! It hides odors so well it's almost like there isn't even a litter box in the house. Since I've used this, he seems like a much happier cat too."

Thank you!!, March 16, 2009
by simple from Minnesota

"This stuff really works. I have never taken the time to review any other products that I have tried, but this is worth it! I spent hundreds if not thousands on a variety of "tools" to help my cat use the box instead of the floor...I read all these reviews and decided to try "one more thing" before sending my cat to live at my mom's farm. I filled the liter box and waited anxiously to see what would happen. Yep...she went on the floor...BUT....it was the last time she went on the floor. I was amazed and ever since then, she has used the box. Thank you for helping our family keep our beloved cat!"

Unbelievable...it really works!, February 22, 2009
by Maggie0 from UT

Pros: it works!, no scents or perfumes
Cons: a bit dusty but not as bad as others i've tried

"I can't believe this actually works!!! It's been just over a month since I started using this, and so far so good! I have 2 cats, one of which had pretty much stopped using the litter box and instead would go #1 and #2 all over my basement carpet. He'd had issues forever, but until recently had always used my bathtub (which could be tolerated since it was easy to clean)...but when he decided the carpet was just as good I was ready to make him an 'outdoor cat.' I don't know what aspect of this makes him happy, but it's been a month with no 'accidents' and before it seriously wasn't more than a day before some little surpise awaited me down there. I recommend this to anyone with cats...it's a bit dusty, but nothing compared to other brands I've tried. It has great odor control, and obviously the fact that my cats use it (and not my carpet) is it's best attribute!"

Worth Every Penny!!, February 9, 2009
by AmyLP from Corpus Christi

"This is the best cat litter I've ever tried and I've tried them all! We recently adopted two cats from the local shelter and I switched to this litter in the hope of making sure they immediately used the box. They both use it immediately and that alone would be worth the money, but in addtion to the new cats actually using the box, our old cat who prefers to go on the bathmat is now using the box exclusively, too! It is a miracle product! Also, it doesn't stink, clumps beautifully, and isn't dusty like the other brands. At first I thought the new cats weren't going potty, but after digging around in there, I found neatly buried clumps that were easy to lift out. No smell other than a faint pleasant herby smell at the box. FABULOUS product!"

It's okay, but NOT 100% usage as it claims., December 30, 2008
by Lisalisalisa from Tejas

Pros: it might work
Cons: it might not work

"I think this is just another formula to try. My cats could take it or leave it. I tried it because my cats began going outside the box and in other areas of the house. I thought it was the litter. I read the reviews on Cat Attract and they made it sound like some magical formula. Well it's not. I put this litter in several places throughout the house and they do use it, but not exclusively. It didn't solve our problems. So, as far as the claims it makes, not so. As far as the price, it's over-priced."

Great Litter!!, November 13, 2008
by LuLusMom from Chandler, AZ

"My cat didn't have a problem using the litter box, but I wanted the best litter for odor control and something that was a good quality and safe. This litter works extremely well at controlling odor. You can't tell there is a stinky little cat in our home until she pounces on you! This is a low dust product and clumps very well. I am totally pleased."

Cat Attract and Precious Cat Litter Attractant, November 9, 2008
by Melaine from Dayton, Ohio

Pros: an easy solution that gives quick lasting results, cheaper than continuous use of odor eliminators
Cons: a little pricey but worth it!

"Wow. These products not only worked, but I got almost immediate and lasting results!

My cat has been eliminating outside the litter box for about six years. We had gone through multiple vet visits, litter types, litter box styles and attempts to modify this behavior without success. I had resigned myself to the fact that my steam cleaner and pet odor eliminating products were my only options.

Then on our routine visit to the vet this past spring, my vet mentioned another client had the same problem and had tried Cat Attract Cat Litter with excellent results. So, off to the store I went. I bought both the litter and the Precious Cat Litter Attractant. I mean I had six years of this behavior to overcome! I steam cleaned the carpet again, emptied and cleaned the litter box as recommended, and put aluminum foil strips on the carpet around the base board area in the room where my cat had been eliminating for the last several years. Then I filled the box with the Cat Attract Litter, added a little of the Precious Cat Litter Attractant for good measure, went into the family room and told my husband "now we wait." Not five minutes later, my cat emerged from the room where the litter box is. I thought, "could it be possible?". Probably not. However, when I looked in the litter box she had actually used it!!! For the first time in years. I then thought perhaps it was coincidence and wouldn't happen again. It's been 8 months now and not a single accident!

I'm one of the biggest skeptics there is, but I'm sold on this product and gladly recommend it to anyone having problems with their cats not using the litter box. Do follow the instructions that come in the package as I think it all plays a part. But this is a fantastic product!"

This is the best stuff, September 30, 2008
by antonella from New Hampshire

"I adopted two cats from a shelter and discovered they did not like their litter box preferring to go outside the box took them to the vets and discovered they have litter box aversion and was given lots of tips which I tried to no avail. One day in Petsmart discoverd MD Elzies so we tried it and the minute we tried it they were using their litter box we have 4 litter boxes as recommended by the vet and MD Elzie (there is a handy informational book about this problem in each bag of litter) and they really only use one and no more going out side the box. THere is no dust or perfume odor it clumps great, very little odor the best."

This litter works!!!, September 7, 2008
by brandonsmom from Owasso, Oklahoma

"My cat, Brandon, decided two weeks before Labor Day that he would urinate in his litter box but do almost all his defecating on the carpet. I had been using Arm & Hammer since I had adopted him three years ago, so I thought he had a health problem. It was Sunday of Labor Day weekend, so I had to get through two more days before I could call the vet. I went to PetSmart and looked at all the litter, then looked up and down the aisles to try to find some kind of product that would attract Brandon to his box.

There on the litter shelf was Cat Attract. I brought it home and took out the pamphlet that was in the bag. Brandon came sniffing at it. I put the litter in the box, and that was the END of the poopy messes! He has not made any messes since I gave him this litter.

Cat Attract clumps really hard, so it's easy to scoop. It also is very good with smell control, to the point where you have to see the litter box to even tell that I have a cat.

This litter is worth every penny, and Dr. Elsey who invented it deserves a thank you and a pat on the back!"

A Wonderful Life Saver - No More Cleaning!, July 21, 2008
by BabyLove from Ft. Lauderdale, FL

"I have a cat that gets nervous when he hears noises or when I leave him alone too long. He is three years old but about three times a year he gets scared and spends one weeks with bowel problems. Other than medicine to help him, I also have a litter problem. He does not go into the litter and goes everywhere else when he does not feel well.
PetSmart is the only place I can find and buy Cat Attract.
Immediately my cat Baby sat in the litter for about 30 minutes and started sleeping in it. I had to drag him out.
Cat Attract is now the only litter I will ever buy since Baby loves it, it clumps well, it lasts along time with no odor, and I have never had another problem except 1 day a month.
I also added a second litter since he does not have to run to far at night.
Thank You For Sharing My Experience!"

This litter saved my cat!!!!!!, June 30, 2008
by Anonymous from Middletown, IN

"My sweet cat, Sophie, and I moved several years ago. The move scared her so badly, and she began urinating all over the house. I had no idea what I was going to do. I had tests run on her by the vet, medication to calm her nerves, artificial hormones to make her more comfortable...nothing worked. I was at Petsmart one day, and I was just staring at the litter. I was crying, knowing that if I couldn't get this figured out, I was going to have to get rid of her. A sales associate came up to me and asked if he could help. I told him my story, and he recommended this litter. Since that day, my Sophie has not had one accident! She has been a totally different cat!

This is the best litter I have ever used. It doesn't smell, clumps great, and it literally attracted my cat back to the box! I would never have even known about this litter had a sales associate not showed it to me. Thank you Petsmart! And thank you CAT ATTRACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
