Top Seller! Developed by a veterinarian in a feline-only practice, Cat Attract Litter is designed to make it easier to get cats of all ages trained or re-trained to use the litter box. 20 lbs.
As an owner of 5 indoor-only cats, this litter has been a life-saver. After we moved to our new place with 4 cats, our youngest fixed male cat decided to spray to claim his new territory. Just terrific. New house, nasty smells. The carpet cleaning bills were adding up.
I found this litter at PetSmart and decided to try it. We had tried everything else, including multiple, meticulously clean boxes placed strategically thoughout the house; as well as an expensive calming topical treatment for the particular cat. The litter was highly attractive and pleased all four of the cats immediately.
It has worked so well that we rescued a tiny kitten from my in-laws' vehicle undercarriage; and have been able to raise her successfully in our multi-cat household. Recently, an outspoken relative walked into the house and proclaimed to her husband, "Oh honey, it doesn't even smell like cat in here"! I could only imaging the conversation leading up to that statement. As a cat lover, I was actually relieved to hear her remark, and chalked it up to an excellent litter product.
From the youngest 6 week old kitten to our eldest 12 year old veteran, our cats love this litter.
This is the best litter out there. No dust, no perfume, clumps great, stays clean & lasts a long time, cats can't wait to use it, doesn't cling to paws & less airborne litter when Big Boy does his ferocious digs.
I rescued a kitten that was abandoned by its mother. The vet estimated the kitten to be 3 weeks old. It only weighed one half pound. I replaced the kitty litter that I was using with Cat Attrack and within seconds the cat was using the litter box. It loves its box now. We were getting nowhere with traditional litters. My kitty is now three weeks older and completely litter trained and was since the first second i switched. I find it truly amazing that a kitten that young would be able to be trained that easily!
I could not be more satisfied with Cat Attract. Before I started using it, my new kitten ignored his litter box, preferring to go to the bathroom under my bed (yuck). Only minutes after I replaced the ordinary litter with Cat Attract, he jumped into the litterbox and used it, and has been using it happily ever since. In addition, the clumping and odor-controlling properties are excellent.

Whiskey has been urinating on my living room chair and sofa for a year now. I was getting desperate and did not want to give him up. I have had him since he was a baby (he's a year old now) and have been using pupply pads daily. Trying new litters all the time and finally came across this one. As soon as I filled up the litter box Whiskey pawed at it and then laid in the box! He loved it and has been urinating in it for a week now. I am so happy with this product. My other two cats also prefer this, they are ignoring the other litter boxes with the other brands of litter. I can't tell you how happy I am I found this litter. I was determined to find something that worked. Please believe all the reviews and try this for your problem cat. I'm glad I did.
Pros: eliminates odor, low dust, easy to clean

I took the advice of the reviewers on this site and decided to buy this product at my local Petsmart. I did everything the manufacturer recommended including buying a new, open litter box. I wasn't thrilled about spending so much money on new cat waste products, but it was either that or find a new home for my cat. She's about 7 and recently started using our carpet and beds to do her business. I set up the box in an upstairs bathroom and for the first 2 days she showed no interest whatsoever. In fact, the next morning after setting up the new box with "Cat Attract" litter we found another mess on the upstairs carpet. I was so disappointed, but left the box in place and waited. Finally after about 2 days, I noticed that she had urinated in the box and then later, she did #2. The smell is was alerted me that the box had been used. Today we shampooed our carpet and things are really looking up. I only gave Dr. Elsey's 4 stars because of the expensive price and because the odor control is not great.
Pros: low dust, easy to clean
Cons: Doesn't Eliminate Odor

My 10 year old (long haired) cat had decided that going #2 outside the box was going to be his new thing. He would go in the living room in front of our fireplace when his box was in one of the bedrooms. He has never urinated outside the box, just #2. This has been going on for about a year.
I had tried everything (and I mean everything): Every type of litter imaginable (crystal, clumping, natural, non clumping, clay, fine crystals, etc.) I tried buying a new box (we had one with a hood before). I tried moving box locations. I tried getting a bigger box. I tried getting two boxes (we only have the one cat). I stopped using liners. I cleaned the box twice a day (he used to be able to go several days before needing a cleaning). I tried changing the litter entirely once a week (because he seemed to be doing it every 6-7 days). I tried Feliway spray and plugins. He didn't care he would just go right outside the area I sprayed. I tried treats as a bribe when he did go in the box.
Then he started to do it on an almost daily basis and I started to feel like I was going to lose my mind. I finally figured I would give one more litter a try and found this one. In the past month since we have been using it he has only gone on the floor once and I haven't even replaced the litter yet. We ended up sticking with the larger open box (22.5”L x 16.7”W x 6.7”H), not using a liner at all and filling it with all 20lbs of litter (seems like a lot but he likes to dig). I clean the box in the morning and before bed just for safe measure. I have kept the other box on the other side of the house just in case but he hasn't had any interest in it.
If you feel like you have tried everything or are just starting out with a problem cat, give this a try. It has made my life a lot easier and I hope it does yours too.

My 5 year old female cat started urinating on area rugs about a year ago...I finally removed all area rugs & she began using the wall-to-wall carpeting in our bedroom for #1 and #2 -- I don't think she was using the box at all anymore. I was desperate & like other reviewers, had tried Feliway diffusers, spray, two trips to the vet to check for UTI's, confinement...you name it. I actually contacted a rescue group last week, as I was very close to giving her up to a shelter. (I am a rescuer, not an abandoner, so this was very difficult for me) I stopped for catnip on Saturday, and noticed the Cat Attract litter and that it had a money-back guarantee, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I put it in the box, my male cat started scratching in it. I took the female and gently placed her in the box. She ran off, but that night there were no ugly surprises and the next day I saw her using the box! 4 days and no accidents so far. I recommend giving this product a try. It's expensive, but considering the cost of pet stain cleaning products, well worth the money. I think my little girl will stay with us as her forever family.
Pros: easy to clean

I had been fostering a cat who had probably been out on the street for a long time. I was worried because he did not want to use a litter box and I knew this would greatly impede the ability to find him a new forever home. While visiting the Petsmart store in Grand Prairie, Alberta, I found the Cat Attract Litter. I was a little desperate at this point and was willing to give anything a try. Amazingly, when I put out this litter, the little foster kitty took one sniff and jumped right in. What a relief! The following week the foster kitty went off to his new forever home and I hear he is very happy there.

I bought this litter because I was out of options and decided it was worth a shot. We bought a new house last year in March and out 10 year old sister cats were ok for a little while. That was until one of them decided to start peeing all over in random spots in the basement, which is the only place in the house with carpets. At first, we thought maybe we didn't clean the litter box enough, or maybe she was mad about something; maybe she no longer liked the corn litter we'd been using for the past two years...then we thought she was marking because our house backs up to the woods and wildlife outside the back patio door in the basement is common. We thought maybe she was stressed out and bought the Feliway products. Those helped a little bit but after a while, she gave up on the box altogether. I was out of mind trying to figure out what to do. We bought an extra box (taking us to three for two cats)...I had puppy pads taped to the baseboards in all the spots she would frequent.
I took her to the vet and spent $200 on bloodwork and exams for them to tell me what I already figured...it was all behavioral because there was physically nothing wrong with her. We were in PetSmart one night and I was talking to an associate that worked there. He said this stuff would do the trick...out of pure desperation, I went with it.
I emptied and cleaned one of the litter boxes and poured the Cat Attract in. WITHIN FIVE MINUTES, she was in the box! I thought to myself, "there's no way this will work that easily..." Well, I stand corrected because it has now been over 5 months and she has not revisited a single spot in the basement. I pulled up all the puppy pads after the first few weeks of using the Cat Attract and was praying she wouldn't be tempted but she hasn't. In fact, out of the three litter boxes BOTH cats use this one more than the other two. We have even started mixing some of the Cat Attract litter in with the corn litter and that seems to get them to use the other boxes more. They tell you not to mix them but I have so much of the old corn litter left and refuse to let it go to waste! I will say the sprinkle Cat Attract that comes in a small canister did not seem to work at all on the corn litter and the cats could have cared less about it.
It is great litter...there is virtually NO DUST. I would say the ony downside to it is how heavy it is but that's expected since it's clay litter. We had switched to Worlds Best a few years ago (which we still swear by and love...) and the corn litter is SO MUCH LIGHTER to scoop, to dispose of...to carry out of the store, but if this Cat Attract is what I need to use in order to keep my house free of urine smells and costly DIY projects to pull out the carpet and put down tile, then I can live with the weight of the bag!
You definitely won't be disappointed!

We were at our wits end, doing at least 4 loads of laundry a day and clean-ups due to our incontinent cat with dementia. The thought of having him euthanized crossed our minds but was too depressing to act on. Following a visit to the vet, I was reassured we had a healthy cat with no UTI & that the problem was behavioral. No new ideas to solve the problem were offered & so the incontinence persisted. After "Googling" for solutions, I found Cat Attract & was encouraged by it's majority of favorable reviews. There's no looking back. Cat Attract works. It is indeed a lifesaver in Salem's case.

Our 10 year old kitty became blind after a routine dental. He was 80% outdoor kitty before this, so we had no need for a litter box. After several months of trying everything on this earth to get him to use his box, I read about this litter and decided I would try it. I created an enclosed litter box and used and 1/4 cat attract to 3/4 feline pine and low and behold he started using his box! It took about 2 weeks total for him to really keep going back and we now have ourselves a dedicated litter box user! He has only gone outside his box once and I think it was because there was a lot of other noise and distraction in the house at the time. This stuff really works and I don't even have to completely fill his pan with it. Great in conjunction with the Feline Pine. Very low odor when used together! Thanks for a great product!

Four cats... one wouldn't use the box....I tried everything to get her to use the box, NOTHING worked. I tried more than one litter box, new and bigger and odd looking litter boxes....I tried every other cat litter out there......and finally came across Dr. Elseys....
It works like magic....it's been a year since my cat stopped going on the floor just outside the litter box. This litter has no dust, and controls odors really well. I have a forever cat litter!
I highly recommend this product to anyone with a problem cat.

I have had problems with one of my cats peeing on my furniture and bed. I thought it was just behavioral so I dealt with that but then I started wondering if it was the litter box. So I replaced it with a large under-the-bed storage container - no top obviously - and filled it with Cat Attract. It worked!! The Cat Attract gets the cat into the litter box and then the texture encourages them to use the litter box. So happy to have found Cat Attract!! My couches thank you too!!

I have three cats and three litter boxes. One of my cat recently stopped wanting to use the litter box. Saw some online reviews and thought I would try it. Since then, we have had no more accidents. It is definitely less dusty and contains less perfumes which I like. It is no more difficult to clean than the other leading litter that I was using before. Very happy with the product! Would definitely recommend.

This seems to be a favorite with my cats, probably because the scent is not overpowering like some brands. The downside is that it also doesn't control odor as well as others, although it does an okay job. And for the price, it is a pretty good deal.

Spared us from having to give up our cat!!!

Our cat was constantly marking her territory in a certain corner of our new house. We tried EVERYTHING including several medications supplied by our vet. This was the only thing that worked! When she started doing it, I put a litter box in the corner, hoping she would just go there instead. Didn't work. This continued for about a year. My husband and I recently had a baby and decided I couldn't keep cleaning up her mess every morning. We decided if we couldn't fix the problem within a week we were going to give her to a shelter. I tried this litter in the box that was always there, and its been 3 weeks now and no accident! she uses the box every time! Couldn't be happier, really didn't want to give up my cat

This. stuff. is. amazing. My 3 year old male cat started using the carpet as his bathroom for urinating and we weren't sure why (moved recently, we didn't have much carpet in the old house so he thinks it's a bathroom, the pine pellets were hurting his paws, who knows). All I know is my husband was very close to giving him away. I said, please just let me try one more thing. We did have to rip the carpet out of one room. We tried cleaning the carpet up with enzymatic cleaners, didn't work - he kept going in the same areas. Took him to the vet to have his urine checked for a bladder infection - no infection so it was behavioral - please always check this before assuming it's behavioral. We also went from an 1,000 square ft house to a 2,500 sq ft one, so we had to add another box. But even adding one with his old litter did not work. This stuff works. My cat has not had one accident when he was previously going almost every day on the carpet. I am iffy about using clay and it was a little bit of a funny smell, but it is worth it to keep my cat. Thank you for making such a great product so I can keep my kitty.

One of my cats started urinating outside the litter box. I tried many things over time and nothing seemed to work (except for plastics bags and towels) until I discovered this litter. I was skeptical at first but as soon as I poured this litter in the box, that cat immediately started using the litter box again and I have not had a problem since. I had no idea that a solution could be this simple. This stuff is amazing and well worth the price. It should be called "Miracle Litter"!!!!
