"After using all the grocery store brands (arm & hammer being the absolute WORST!!!), I read the reviews for Ever Clean and decided to give it a try. WOW! It clumps very hard and clean. Scooping is a cinch! I haven't had any odor issues since I switched to this brand AND the litter tracking problem is not even a problem anymore! I LOVE this litter! I'm an Ever Clean customer for life!!!"

"I have been using Ever Clean Clumping Cat Litter for 14 years. In the past, I occasionally tried another brand, but I was always dissapointed and went back to using the Ever Clean.
My friends say that you can not tell I have a litter box in my home because you can not smell it, and they are amized that I have been using the same litter box for 14 years because it looks new! The Ever Clean litter prevents the plastic litter box from absorbing urine and the bottom of the litter box stays just like new!
For any one saying that Ever Clean litter is expensive, the truth is; Ever Clean Litter Last's Longer Than Any Other Litter!"

"I have 4 very fussy cats, and this is the best litter I have ever had. It removes all oders, stays clean and fresh, and it clumps very well, so there is no wet litter left in the box. I have recommend this litter to friends and they and their cats love it. It may be a bit pricey compared to store brands, but this really is worth the price."

Good clumping but doesn't hold down smell well,

"In the quest for a good litter to use for our cat's automatic letter box we've tried several commercial brands with dissapointing results. This brand did better then the ones we've tested so far (Fresh Aire and Fresh Step). The brand clumps better than the litters we've used but we still needed to remove smaller, broken clumps manually each day (though this probably has more to do with the design of the litter box system than the litter). The litter has no scent added but doesn't hold down smell too well after a few days (despite thoroughly removing deposits daily and keeping a ceiling fan running). I don't know how many people make it 30 days before completely changing the litter box (as recommended by the manufacturer)."

"I had high hopes for this litter after reading all the reviews.
The only pro is that there is little tracking.
The cons go on and on. It does nothing for odor reduction, and, as a result, you have to change the litter frequently. It is also dusty. The price is a bit over the top for a litter with no odor control at all."

"I have cats all my life, and have tried many litters over the years. I did buy the multi-cat formula because it was on sale and it was a bonus size box. I love the fragrance!!! Even though I only have one cat at this time, I will continue to use it. It is the best clumping litter, and is very easy to scoop completely. I find that I only need to completely change the box about once a month, as the odor control is fantastic. I tell all my cat parent friends to try it!!!!"

"I purchased this litter because I was having problems with my automatic litterbox. The traditional clay litters were too heavy for the automatic litterbox to lift the litter, leaving it stuck in a rotation. I came across this litter and found it to work the best out of any of the clay litters that I have found on the market. The automatic litterbox rarely gets stuck which is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this litter to anyone with an automatic litterbox!"

"I live in a small loft so I have no choice but to camouflage the littler box behind the couch in my leaving room. Since I am using this litter, I can't smell anything even if the letter box is right behind us when we watch TV! It's amazing how well it controls smell and it also clumps really well. It is a little volatile, so you have to turn your head when pouring it into the litter box or it will make you cough. It is everything they promise it will be!"

My four LOVE this litter,

"I have four indoor outdoor cats, three male. They all come in overight, so my litter should last longer. BUT since I have been using EverClean (Unscented), my guys will actually come IN from outside to use the box! At first I couldnt figure out why it was getting so much use, but then over a weekend I saw them come in just to go! (brats!) I agree with the other posters, it is a little dusty, so I have learned to refill the box outside, then carry it back in. That way dust blows off quickly and I dn't have it all over the house. It doesn't track much, and even when I forget to clean the box, the clumps do not get broken up by other users. And the best part is no odor! Now If I could just get My eldest "Ing", Ding to stop rolling in it when I fill with a new box....! Since he is an outdoor cat who loves rolling in sand and on pavement, I figure the litter must be more clean and natural than a lot of the others I have used."

"I was having problems with my cats not using the litter box and decided to test if the problem were the litter. I set out 4 litter boxes with 4 different litters, and my cats chose the box with the EverClean litter EVERY time. And this was a 2-week test. Since then, I've used EverClean exclusively, and there have been no more problems with not using the litter box. I can't say enough good things about this product!"

"I have tried many of the grocery store brands. They all seemed to loose their working power very quickly. I am at almost 10 days with this litter. It scoops perfect, and leaves the litterbox just like new. No broken clumps or crumbles left behind. Definitely the best I have used!! I highly recommend it. And to the person who left a negative review because it didn't work well with the automatic littermaid box. Its not the litters fault, its the box. After spending mega bucks on that automatic litter box, I threw it out because of the same reason she was complaining. Again, its not the litters fault, its the box!"

"This litter is AMAZING! I LOVE it! I hate doing the litter boxes but this litter has made the chore much easier to deal with. With other litters I tried, no matter how often I scooped within a few days they had that "used litter smell" even with added freshening powder. With this litter it still smells fresh from the package clean. I love it. I will agree it is a bit dusty though. But I'll take the dust over yucky smell any day!!!"

"For a long time, I used Tidy Cats Scoopable Cat Litter.. I thought it was the best.. until I tried this.. This litter IS dusty, but the scented kind has a pleasant smell that is nice to humans and cats don't seem to mind.. My cats actually prefer the feel of this litter, since it is a bit finer than the Tidy Cats.. The clumping is AMAZING.. Tidy cats clumps used to fall apart just trying to scoop them.. The clumps you get with EverClean actually stay clumped and hold together VERY well.. Because of this, there are less little pieces of broken clumps left over in the litter box, so the box stays fresher longer.. I actually like the scented better than the unscented, but the unscented works okay, too.. There is one kind, though, it's unscented, i think it's called "ultra" or something.. It has blue crystal-like particles in it.. I did not like this kind.. it doesn't seem to hold together as good and tracks a little bit more.. Though this litter is slightly pricier than the others, it is worth the money and I regularly find it on sale at petsmart."

"My husband and I take in abandoned and abused cats. We have 6 Kitty Litter boxes and I think that we're experts in that arena. Ever Clean is the BEST Kitty Litter we've tried, and we've tried them all. It lasts the longest....Scoop out the clumps and when it's gone, replenish. It's expensive, but worth the money! (I bought 3 boxes yesterday)"

"Again a litter that sounded great but didn't work in the Litter Maid litter box. The wet litter completely gummed up and stopped the litter rake in its tracks. Not once, but 3 times. I kept giving it a chance, but no go. So I am on the hunt again for a litter that will work in my LitterMaid, so I won't have to scoop so often. I do recomment this for odor control. It works super in that department."

"I have tred many litters that claimed to be "clumping" litters and been sorely disappointed when I try to clean the litter box and these other so-called clumping litters break apart and the liquid waste slips between the tines of the litter sifter back into the litter box. Ever Clean has never broken apart in the many years I have been using Ever Clean. It is always dependable when cleaning the litter box. Also, these "litter box liners," are a waste of money and material. Litter box liners ALWAYS tear and end up soling the litter box. Don't waste your hard earned money on litter box liners."

Third time's the charm!,

"I have had my kittens for about a month now and this is the third type of litter we've tried. I think we've found a winner! The first one did not cover odors very well - this type has been absolutely fantastic in that regard. My kittens have been battling standard parasites/worms that came with them from the shelter, and they're have very impressive (IE: gross) bowel movements. Since I switched to this little I haven't been able to smell it at all! Also, the little clumps very well and the pieces are relatively small, so they haven't been tracking it all over like they did previously. I wish it were flushable like some of the non-clay kind, but for how well this works I'm definitely willing to keep doing the old bag-and-toss."
