Pros: pleasant odor, cost effective, fast acting, safe Cons: 5 minute wait
"I hate fleas as does any normal person so when I discovered that my kittens had them I was horrified! I wanted to find a product that was not only safe for them but for myself and my family. I checked the information on several other products and none seemed to be as safe as this one so I went right out and bought it. As soon as I put it on I could see the fleas dying off. The 5 minute wait was definitely unpleasant but when it was time to rinse the dead fleas just dropped off. My kittens were so soft and pleasant smelling afterward. I wouldn't buy anything else now!"

Works initially, but doesn't repell fleas at all,

Pros: good smell Cons: didn't really work for us
"We bought this brand because we adopted a kitten that had some fleas and we wanted something that would be 100% safe for him. It's true that it pulverizes most fleas--seeing them fall off dead is fun. However, even when we followed the directions to a tee (left the shampoo on for five torturous minutes), the next day we found one or two fleas already back on him. So far we've given him three baths in two weeks, and he still has them. Time for something stronger--but he really didn't have that many fleas to begin with. I was disappointed. The smell is pleasant, though. And our kitten seemed comfortable once he was out of teh water--no irritation."

"I just bought a kitten from the pet store yesterday and I discovered fleas on him. I went out and bought this product and when I used it, the fleas were dropping off of him in the water, completely dead. He hates bath's, but I had to do it especially since I have another cat. Not sure if any of them hid somewhere on him, but I am confident they are all gone. I will be using everyday for a few more days just in case. I definitely recommend this product."

"My husband and I just moved into a new house... which was apparently already occupied... by fleas!!! Our 2 cats and dog were miserable with infestation within a week. Because the cats refuse to be bathed in a sink or tub, any time I have to bathe them, I have to actually strip down and bathe them in a shower with sliding doors so they can't run away. So, it was important that I find a flea shampoo that was not only safe for the cats, but was also safe for me. Every product on the shelf had a very long poison control warning, except Sentry Natural Defense. And although the cats were still unhappy about the bathing process, the product itself was very effective. The fleas were literally dropping off, dead. The shampoo did not irritate my sensitive skin or the cats' skin. And my husband even commented that they smelled nice! I highly recommend this product as a natural alternative that is not only safe for your cat, but also safe for you!"

"This product killed every tick on my kitten, i just got her a week ago from my Grandmother and she was filled with ticks we didmt want a product that could hurt them so we wanted to get something natrual and this worked very very good product!! I reccomended it to everyone i know!! The only down fall is afterwards my cat itched for a little when she got out . My mom said it was just that she wasnt use to being that clean. Greattt!! Otherwise!!"
