"I love this collar... It has been on my German Shepherd for almost 3 years now.. it's worn well.. and has been in and out of the ocean and lakes and at doggie daycare and is still holding. I bought him one more but he still hasn't needed to use it yet. I just wish you were able to get them in the petsmarts in cananda.."

"I still have the leash I bought at petsmart a few years ago for my German Shepherd, they seem to no longer carry them in store so when I decided to buy her a bigger collar I bought one online. Still the same great quality! The leash is still in perfect condition and probably even BETTER because it's nice and broken in now. I recently got a Saint Bernard and it will easily hold up with him as well. I train dogs for a living so having a good quality leather leash is a MUST or my hands get torn up. I've had nylon and even cotton leashes literally cut my hand. There is nothing better and easier to grip than a good quality leather leash. My only complaint is that they don't carry the good quality stuff online anymore and it takes awhile for orders to be mailed."

"Having gone through several different types of collars for my Rat Terrier X this has been by far the best! I've had it for several months now and it is still in perfect condition. The leather is soft yet durable (double layered) with rounded edges making it a very comfortable collar. I picked another one up for my Collie/Shepard X this morning!"

"I bought my dogs these leashes and I love them! The padded handle is SO soft - even with a dog that pulls, it's a comfy grip. The leather is very durable but still soft. Highly recommended!"

"I have this collar on all 5 of my dogs, thay are bit more expensive but well worth it in the long run. My dogs all live on a farm so I want something that was durable and would last a long time. I clean them twice a year with leather cleaner which keeps them clean then oil them to keep them soft and supple my dogs love them and the best part is that the lab can't break it like he could with his nylon collars and leashes. these collars have already been worth the cost due to the fact I don't have replace collars frequently like nylon collars with my group"

"I bought this collar for my puppy and have been changing sizes as she grows. I love the design(color of leather and stitching). The leather is 100% durable and lasts on some of the most outgoing ruggid dogs( I know). I would definately recommend both the collar and leash. You would be spending your money wisely with this product. :)"

"This was my first time purchasing a leather collar (and leash) so I made sure that I bought one of good quality and great comfort for my golden retriever. The collar is very strong and sturdy- sometimes it kind of hard to put the collar through the loop but that's the least of my worries. It's tough for a big, active dog, but it's soft to the touch. You know it's great quality just by feeling the material."

"My Flatcoated Retriever has made it a mission to destroy my Smooth Collie's collars: she went through at least 6 nylon collars. As they played and tugged at each other, the Retriever would end up chewing through and snapping the Collie's collars -- at a rate of 3 or 4 per year! I gave up on nylon and decided to go for more expensive leather. The first model I tried lasted about one year. Then I tried the Weaver Deerskin Collar: it has lasted for 2 years and is going strong. For durability, resistance, quality and comfort, I definitely recommend it."
