This is such great dog food we have a 7yrs old lab(Dixie) shes loves her new food and its a great price too! nice size bites and its so great!it smells so good to this other dog food we fed her smelled bad but Purina one smells good i would recommend to my friends! Hope you try it for your doggies!

My Jack Russell always gets Purina ONE. I originally chose it because it is more efficiently used. Less in - less out, so to speak. (And I do hate to clean the yard.) My last dog lived to be almost 16. He happily played until he died, and was still proudly striking fear in the hearts of squirrels until the very end. My current one is following in his footsteps. Even though my mother questions why I would feed them anything called "Optimum Nutrition for Energy" (she thinks they could stand to calm down a bit), I wouldn't feed my sweet dog anything else!

I have 14 yrs American Eskimo with cancer and she eats it everyday it gives her energy and you won't know she has bladder cancer. I also have 10 yrs Poodle with diabetes and will not eat the prescription diet food, he loves this food and it does not bother his glucose They both have been on PURINA ONE food all their lives from puppy to adult and now the senior and both love it, Thanks PURINA for PURINA ONE

My old Dane lost a lot of energy, had dandruff, and didn't want to chew on her bones after I switched her to a "good" brand that didn't have by-products.
I switched her to Purina One and within only two weeks, she now has the energy of a puppy and her coat is amazing!
Also, by-products are actually good for dogs. In order for the term "by-product" to be listed as an ingredient, it has to be cleaned organs and ground bone (definition set by AAFFCO.) When wolves catch prey, they go STRAIGHT to the organs and eat the bones. Organs are extremely dense in nutrients and the bones provide natural glucosamine which is a lot easier absorbed than brands that put in supplements.
All and all, GET THIS FOOD! You won't be disappointed!

Pros: works like a dream!

Cons: absolutely nothing!

My 9 yr old Airedale/Border Collie mix spends his days herding livestock and guarding fences. As a result, he uses a lot of energy and stays pretty thin. Since switching his food to Purina One Senior dog food, he is looking and acting like a puppy! His coat has improved, his weight is normal, and he is back to loving his job again! Thanks for bringing my energetic boy back again Purina One.

My 10 year old german shepard mix used to be fed 'Kibbles N Bits' (which, by the way, is a choice to AVOID) that turned out to be unhealthy, but very tasty. Then, we switched to this, and he loved it (more than the unhealthy food that was supposably tastier) and we were very confused by that. But, he loves it, and it is much healthier for him, even our vet says so.
