Have tried the beef and Rice flavor, and my 10 Month old German shepherd turned her nose up at it, wouldn't even touch it. So I bought a bag of the chicken and rice flavor and she wolfs it down. So I guess we'll stick with that flavor. She really seems to like it.

I fed Pro Plan until they changed it to a shredded formula, which caused my dogs to lose weight. So several months ago I switched them to Purina One because it has similiar ingredients. They gained the weight back & they love it!

Purina One is the only dog food I'll buy. I've tried the expensive ones, and have seen no greater benefits in them over this dog food. I have a dachshund who gobbles this down the second I put it in his bowl, and has chewed up the sides of my container trying to get more (he would overeat if I let him).

I bought this for my dog and he absolutely hated it. He would not eat this at all even if I added something else in. He would starve himself and he would finally eat.

my dog Annie used to have her hair fall out and she would chew herself all the time, until we found the she was allergic to her food. We switched her over to this and HOLY SMOKES! She stopped chewing, hair stopped falling, she has more energy (too much?) and she looks forward to mealtime. This has worked wonders on Annie. Get this food and you won't be let down.

My dog had to be cajoled into eating his meals until I switched to Purina One. His coat wasn't very healthy, his joints seemed to bother him, and he didn't have a lot of energy. But when he switched to Purina he ate all of his food no problem. His weight is steady, his coat is healthy, his joints are better, and he has lots of energy. The main ingredients are chicken and rice and not by-product-something. The main ingredients don't change all the time. It's improved every now and then by adding yogurt and such but the it remains the same quality food.

My dog looks and acts healthier after eating Purina One Chicken and Rice. His energy level is up and his coat looks nice. My dog was a rescue dog and has come a long way in the few months I have fed him Purina One Chicken and Rice. He loves this food. Happy dog and Happy owner!
