We love the looks, solid materials and heavy stitching. The problem, and it's a serious one, is that the breakaway clip releases too easily. Our dog snapped out of the collar on the first tug. I tried spreading the tines to no avail. I hate to throw it a way, but I must.

This Collar goes nice with my dog's Fawn fur. The buckle is high quality. The only thing I don't like is the dog tag being sideways instead of in the middle.
Anyway, my dog loves wearing this collar way more than her other one so it is probably comfortable too!

Great Collar, but don't expect appearance to stick

I bought this for my Miniature Schnauzer and after minimal time, it got dirty, so I cleaned it with just wiping it down with a cloth and water. The leash and collar no longer match, because the collar faded out horribly. It works great, but I will not buy another one of these.

Pros: durable

Cons: loses color after short time

I loved the look of this collar and bought it for my Maggie, a 65 lb Yellow Lab. Within 2 months of daily wear, no water or anything but daily activity, the pink sparkley stip began to peel, it is gone now and we need another collar!

This was a beautiful collar and leash when purchased. Over minimal time, the sparkle strip came detached from the nylon on both the leash and collar. The safety release attachment is of very high quality, but if you are looking for something that looks nice with time, this is not the product to buy.

Pros: high quality "buckle"

Cons: sparkle strip detaches

This is a very nice collar. I have a red wirehair dachshund and I wasn't sure if the color would be right for her. It looks very nice and has shown little wear. The only discoloration is on the rubber part near her i.d. and vacination tags. The metal attacher is leaving a dark residue on the rubber. Aside from that small amount of wear the collar looks brand new. The only thing is...I got the wrong size for her. The collar was a bit stiff when I bought it and seemed to fit. Now that it has been broken in a bit more it fits a bit more loose. This is my fault, I will have to buy a smaller size.

I have had this collar for a long time and I am very happy with it, my female Chihuahua "Bizkit" is black and this collar stands out so well on her and is so pretty, but does need regular cleaning to keep it clean, but my dogs are very active and get dirty more than enough. every girls gotta have some bling bling!

My hava-apso has the matching harness and leash and for some reason the collar ended up wearing out a lot faster than the others. We still have the same harness and leash but had to replace the collar after a few months.

I bought this collar for my dog over a year and a half ago, and it has been a great collar. My dog had never received so many compliments on her collar before! The collar will adjust to fit the exact size of your dog's neck. The on-off buckle comprised of a plastic clip, and a metal socket that is quite durable. It was only about after a year of wear that the collar began to look dingy.
I also bought the same collar for my sister's dog, who swims in a lake daily, and the collar has held up fantastically for her as well. Being a former Petsmart employee, I would recommend this to anyone.
