I bought this collar in large for my rottie several years ago..we have washed it a couple of times. no fading and the quality is excellent. even though the fasteners are plastic they are still holding up good. I have been pleasantly surprised. so far there has been no unraveling of the embroidery fonts. I have been very pleased. the only down side I can see is that you don't get to put ur name and address on there I guess. but no biggie for me just hope I will get that call if she's ever lost.

They did the job. Now the dogs have name tags with our phone number that wont fall off. Just what we were looking for. Everyone wants to know where to get them.

Olnly problem is the last digit of the phone number is covered by the clasp. The prints needs to be centered as not to be covered by anything. I'm sure this can be requested when ordering. The collar is pink and washes very well without the black print fading.

I ordered 3 collars and personalized them. I got them SUPER fast and they were just as ordered. One reviewer was upset they had a black collar with black letters. They must have ordered it that way because you can pick the color of the lettering.

The collars look great. The only problem is the size. I ordered large in all three collars, 2 for Boxers and 1 for a Goldendoodle. All 3 dogs are large. These collars are huge! Don't go by the suggested size for dog. Measure your dogs neck (or their existing collar) to pick the correct size. This was my own fault for not thinking about the length.

I love the collars so I'm making them work by adjusting to the smallest size they will go for now. The dogs are still growing so hopefully they will fit better when they are full grown.

Bad Doggie Mommy, read all product info first! ;)

Pros: great looking, super fast shipping, very sturdy collar

Cons: suggested size for dog breed is way to large

This collar seemed like a great idea for my dog since he hates tags, so I ordered the black collar for him. It would have been great and gotten a much higher rating from me if they hadn't used black embroidery on the black collar.... not so useful and a waste of the extra money I spent to get the obviously useless embroidery. Other than that, it seems like a nice collar. I might use it and just add the tags my dog hates.

I got this for my mini dachshund thinking that it would be like most small collars and be thinner. However, it is a pretty good size width so I agree with the other reviews in that this collar really isn't for a dog under 15 pounds. My mini dachshund is expected to get to be 9 pounds so maybe it will fit her then and she can grow into it. I do like how there is no need for ID tags because my puppy likes to chew them to the point you cannot read them anymore. I have tried breaking her of the habit but within a few days - a week the tag is ruined. I am excited for when she can wear this collar. I think she will like it because she really does not like ID tags.

Pros: don't need id tags

Cons: the "small" size is pretty big

I ordered this collar for my Basset puppy. She had gone thru all of the sizes, and when I needed a large, this is what I ordered. I ordered the pink and a pink lead to match. One reviewer said they wash well, but I haven't had to wash hers yet. It is easy to remove also.

we just got a second lab / german shepherd mix and i've ordered not only a collar for him, but a new one for our 1st dog as well. (she keeps rolling in stinky stuff & getting sprayed by skunks) the collars fit really well and look great. our girl is a runner and we've had several people call us to come get her because of the cell # printed on the collar. tags sometimes come off in rough play but the collar stays on. when we got our boy a few days ago, we didn't even hesitate to order him one as well. oh, btw, the collars wash up great in the dish washer or laundry - i've done it several times now!

I purchased this collar for my Yorkie, and after i looked at the size chart i picked out the small, when in got here, it was thick and bulky. I had to make it as small as it would go, you couldn't see the phone number, and it still didn't fit. . . So I would recommend this product, just not to someone with a small breed.

Terrible for smaller dogs, inaccurate sizing

I bought a similar personalized collar for my ~6lb chihuahua about a year ago from PetSmart.com, which worked great but was getting a little dirty. So I ordered this because it was supposed to be the exact same length/size. Unfortunately, this collar is completely useless. The small is so big around that, doubled over, it is still too big. Plus, it's way too bulky of a material for a small dog. The poor little guy acted like he had a c-collar on and couldn't move his neck when I tried it on him. In fact, it is way too big for my parents' ~12lb dog. I can't see this type of collar working well for any dog under about 15-20 pounds.

Pros: relatively inexpensive

Cons: way too bulky and big for smaller dogs

My beagle has gotten so many compliments on his collar. It comforts me to have his name and home phone number on him at all times. The print on the small collar is a good size, very easy to read even though the collar isn't that wide. I bought the blue collar with white writing; it is a beautiful shade of blue and the white writing really stands out. I also like that there are so many other Top Paw accessories that match this collar. This is the only collar I will ever buy.

If you are unsure about sizing, go to the store first and try out one that isn't personalized. The small collar, when adjusted to be its longest, fits my 20 lb. beagle perfectly.

Good Product, but watch the sizes

This is a nice collar, for a good price. However, the sizes are misleading. A "small", listed as 10"-14" will only go as much as 13" long, while a "medium", listed as 14" to 20", will only go down to about 14.5". My dog needs a 13.5", so the small is too small and the medium too big. If your dog is at the extremes of the size ranges I recommend you try one out in the store before ordering it with the personalization.

I got one for each of my dogs. The green, blue and purple with white letters. You can see there name and # real good on these collars. The only reason i gave it a 4 star on appearance is because I have one dog that is 24lbs and has the smaller collar, which I find is hard to read. You can read it but it is alot smaller then the med and the large one I bought. I know that is because the collar is smaller and you have so much room. I would order him another one, maybe put the writing in black instead. This is your dogs ticket home its a great buy.

I highly recommend these collars as identification devices. I have five Shelties and a Border Collie, and I compete in the sport of dog agility. Since this means a lot of out-of-town travel, I have my dogs' names and my cell phone number embroidered on each collar (different color for each dog). I think the personalized collars are much safer than hanging tags which fall off or get scratched and unreadable. I've used these collars for several years, and they still look great. The embroidery is very readable, and the claps are totally secure.

This collar worked perfect since my lab chews up all her collars with the id tags on... since they make noise this collar gave me the assurance that if she happened to run away she had my phone number and her name on her collar... great idea.. fits perfectly

I bought the collar for my chocolate lab, and ended up ordering one more in a new color and one for my sister's dog. The colors are so bright and the writing is very clear and easy to read. Everyone who sees my dog always asks where we got the collar. The price is very reasonable- I looked elsewhere and did not find anything close to this.
