A MUST for extra large cats!!!,

"I have two large cats, a 13 pounder and a 23 pounder! Those little boxes just don't cut it for large cats and it seems that the majority of boxes out there are too small (I doubt my 23 pounder can even get half way in some of them!) I had the largest Booda Boxes and still had trouble with my cats backing up and sometimes missing the box entirely. I even had to take off the top of that box to accommodate my largest cat. No more problems now! Finally a box big enough for BIG domestic cats! (LOL, and maybe smaller wild cats too). Love the pockets for keeping the scoop too. One note though, I disagree with the one reviewer and Fresh Step, that stuff is terrible with odor control, Tidy Cat is the way to go with multiple big cats :)"

"I love this litter box. I always wondered why there were not any large capacity litter boxes in the market and then here comes this one! I love it and my cats do too!! It cleans so quick and everything comes off easily. Just spray an antibacterial cleaner like foaming scrubbing bubbles on it an wipe clean with paper towels. Last wipe it with alcohol. Just pour a generous amount straight from the bottle and move about in then wipe with paper towel. Let dry for a minute or two and then use the clumping cat litter. I like Fresh Step. Your cats will love you!! They dig to China in our boxes. Buy this litter box and you will be glad for sure. The next generation model should maybe have a little higher walls."

Pros: good quality!
"My mom bought my cat this litter box last year and it has made a big difference in my cat's behavior. My cat used to urinate on my dog's beds, after my mom had purchased this huge litter box, she stopped urinating on them. I was beginning to worry when she was peeing in places she shouldn't, had her vet checked for stones, she had clean bill of health. So, it was all in bad behavior and this product has helped tremendously!!!

"I replaced four "giant" hooded pans with two of these monsters and the result is a cleaner litter room and a much easier time cleaning up. True, cleaning these guys can be tricky (I would not recommend one of these pans to apartment dwellers), but if you have a large laundry tub or a hose outside, it shouldn't be a problem."

Giant is an Under Statement!,

Pros: side pockets great for scoops powders & sprays., giant enough for large breeds & multiple cats.
"I have one 1 male Maine Coon and a much much smaller female cat (breed unknown). My male cat Dempsey was having issues with his back quarters hanging out of all the various types of litter pans we were buying-- enclosed, open, dome, square,self cleaning,etc -- and he was still eliminating urine on the scatter rugs and right on the floor in front of the toilet. I started searching online for pans/boxes and I saw this one, but I was not prepared for how HUGE it was when my fiancé and I actually spotted it in the store. Giant is definitely an Under Statement--- When we checked out, the girl at the counter asked if I had a dog or a mini horse I was trying to litterbox train!! We laughed!
Dempsey has more than enough room and he seems much happier in his new bathroom. We've yet to spot any urine spots and it's been a little over a month! We are definitely excited! This is great for large breeds, multiple cats or if you're not home for long hours each day because the large box allows there to be more litter which stays fresher longer."

$25 litter box saved my floor!,

"I looked everywhere & even thought of creating my own "litter-box wall" to contain the mess. My 2 "I can't urinate within a 1'x2' area & I need to make sure I kick litter around the enire room" wonderful kitties would make me so mad because when they back-up, they would just so happen to go outside the box & I ended up having to put plastic on the wall & floor to prevent an odor that is almost impossible to get rid of... I found the canyon of litter-boxes & I love it. My scaredy-cats won't go in an enclosed one, so this one saved the day.... Only one complaint... why it has a curved front & corners? I don't know... I don't know what square litter scoop can get into a curved area without breaking litter... but still, it's better than having almost more litter outside the box than in!!
Definitely pleased!!!! Excellent purchase!!! * (but also wish they had different colors too)"

"for some reason my geriatric cat (14.5 years old) just simply would NOT use his traditional litter box. I moved the old box to 4 different locations, and had a hard time catching him while he was urinating. finally I saw he put his front paws in the box and peed outside of the box. I tried multiple litters, and I took the liner away as he is scared of the noise that plastic bags make. Nothing worked. finally I thought that maybe he does not feel there is enough room in his old litter box (which was very large until I met this one!) I tried this supergiant box and thank God, he is finally using his box consistently. What a relief! the only thing is I think the sides are a little too high for him to get in the box comfortably, so i am shopping to see if there is a ramp that I can attach to the box to make it easier for him."

Biggest Cat Box ever!
"We love this cat box. We have 4 cats of different sizes and we never have anyone missing the box. It holds 30 pounds of litter and goes a while before cleaning. It fits our whole linen closet floor. We put the Cat Hole Cat Door With Brush on the door so they could go in without us! It is perfect combo...we had to get a steel scoop for the depth of this box with litter in it. I use a garden knee pad when cleaning. We put an automatic on/off light in the closet for them to see. I got 2 of them so I can clean one while using the other! Get this box if you have more than 1 cat!"

"Overall this has been a great litterbox for my 4 Jumbo size Maine Coon cats. The one and only drawback is that the sides aren't quite high enough to accomodate Zeke's habit of not squating like he should - but that's not the box's fault. very heavy duty and I like the convenient scoop holder."

"We've been using this about 6 months now, and it replaced two slightly smaller pans. The scoop pocket is very handy but one would be plenty. The box cleans well and is very sturdy. I wondered if it would be awkward to clean or dump but the design is very clever so that's not a problem at all. Our 4 large cats love it and the larger area has cut down on fussing at the box. We still get oversprays, though, so I'd love it if this box were 6-8 inches taller with a couple of lower entries at the front. Also, it would be great if the scoop/bag pocket(s) were moved to the front corner(s) and the horizontal space given over to more litter. A big improvement that sadly falls short of excellence, but a few tweaks could take it to the top."

"I have 2 cats, one is a big Maine Coon. With other pans I'd have loose litter all around the area. With this huge litter pan I don't have any loose litter at all. I'd put a litter mat under the smaller pans, and still have loose litter on the floor.
Because I can fill this box up with a lot more fresh litter than in the smaller pans, I don't have to change out the litter as often, though I scoop frequently.
I love the 2 storage areas on the end, too. I keep the litter scoop and a can of litter freshener spray in them."

"Best litter pan for large cats and multi-cat households. I have two Maine coon cats that easily fit into this pan. It has holders at one end for a scoop and bags. If you have big cats or several cats in the family this is the litter pan for you. I'd like to see another version without the holders, for ease in room placement. An excellent product, very well made, easy clean up."

"This is the greatest litter pan for those of us 'crazy cat ladies' who have way too many cats ! I do cat rescue and re-homing and I can never have too many litter boxes. Finding these giant pans was a lifesaver. Many of the adult cats are large and they don't like the smaller pans. I have bought 6 of these so far."

"The price has gone up significantly since they brought it out. Also, this is great unless you have a cat that pees standing straight up, it's not deep enough, and for these cats, it goes right over onto the floor. Other than that, it's great!!"

"This litter pan is wonderful for large cats. I have a Maine Coon who keeps growing, and all other pans are too small. It's high enough to keep litter from flying out, while being low enough for the smaller cats to get in. Now I have a place to keep the scooper and deodorizer. I keep newspaper on the bottom to assist cleaning, and it seems to be working so far. Cats want plenty of space, without be closed in, and this product is perfect!"

"I thought this litter box would be a great addition to my other three, but I was wrong. First of all, it's entirely too big and heavy, I wouldn't be able to clean the box inside, my utility sink is not that large and I will not use my tub. I know I'm the only one rating this product so low but I do have lung disease so my review might not relate to some."

"I bought this litter box after wasting over a hundred dollars on a motorized litter box. My cats hated it, it was too small, couldn't clear the large scoops and then my cats would seek other places to go. To add to that I would have to scoop out the box anyway.
Now my cats have lots of room in the box and no complicated litter traps to change or litter on the floor. I highly recommend this box for houses with multiple cats."

"This is, by far, the greatest litter box ever. We are a 3-cat household, and all three of my cats need their space in the box...so we have 3 boxes! The box walls are high enough to keep the litter IN the box and not out on your floor. The 2 side compartments are great for storing the scoop, litter deodorizer, and air freshener spray. Highly recommended! Best litter box ever!"

"Ours has been a multiple cat household for many years. At the present time I have 6 indoor cats and I've spent untold amount of dollars on litter boxes!! I've tried so many different brands, types, sizes and shapes - all in an attempt to confine as much litter as possible in the boxes and to keep my kitties happy. I have 2 large male cats and they've always had problems with the size litter boxes I was able to find. I found this box on-line and wanted to see it for real before purchasing so we went to the nearest PetSmart store (approx. 2 1/2 hr. drive) and luckily they had it in stock. I purchased 2 of them and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these littler boxes. I am so satisfied with them and all my kitties LOVE them, too. Even my big boys love them! They love the depth of litter I can put in these, they love the fact they have room to maneuver - and for the first time in a long, long, long time I don't have oddles of litter on my floors! I am so thankful PetSmart carries these litter boxes. A big, big "Thank You" to PetSmart for these - from both myself and my kitties!!"
