From the first time we gave this to him, he has gone bonkers over it. The taste must be great because he can't get enough. The ball is pliable but tough. We have to take it away from him, he never gets enough of it. We use it as a crate toy mostly but sometimes just as a special treat. He carries it around like a baby blanket. He's had the chicken and the liver and loves them both. I'd recommend this to anyone, I just wish I had found it earlier.
I went to the store in search of a toy that my new puppy would find more attractive than the things she was currently chewing...the tree, the deck, the landscape lighting, the couch, my shoes...oh yeah and the lamp cords. I hesitated to spend $25 on something I didn't know anything about but the helpful clerk told me all about Everlasting Treats and how they would be helpful for my situation. With a promise that I could return it if my dog didn't like it I purchased and went home to prove the salesperson wrong. I was the one that was wrong. Man do my dogs love the Everlasting treat ball! I've got 5 dogs and they aren't good at sharing so I'm trying to collect one for each. They are expensive as dog toys go but they are WELL worth it.

I have a Chinese Crested Powderpuff and she loves it! She did figure it out in less than an hour but I put her other treats on the other side and she is still trying to figure it out as to how to get to it. I will definitely buy this product again. It is a little pricey but worth the entertainment watching her go at it.

I have a Pitt/Lab mix that is 10 and he LOVES this ball. You can put any kinda treats in it and he will play with it for hours. It's great for dogs that like to work out their jaws. This thing can withstand the strength of their jaws and dosnt come apart.

I have 2 dogs, a pit bull and a cockapoo. Both dogs LOVE this thing. The cockapoo cannot figure it out, and so he will chew it for hours and as a result it lasts. My pit bull on the other hand, had the treat removed within 2 hours the first time, and only 10 minutes the second time. I will continue to buy the refills, but only give it to my pit once in a great while, just to switch it up so she doesn't get bored with her other toys. I can't afford to purchase the refills for her at the pace she chews it up. My cockapoo takes a LOT longer to chew the treat out, so I wouldn't be buying refills often anyway. The ball itself is VERY sturdy and neither dog has destroyed it (which is saying a lot for my pit bull as she destroys everything I give her except her elk antler). I guess it just depends on how smart and strong your dog is that will determine if this is a good purchase or not.

I love this product. It has a spot for a circle treat on both sides of the product to form a ball. You can even add a treat in between the two treats. It is good for dogs that like to chew, but NOT FOR POWER CHEWERS. My dog, an Australian Shepherd mix not only got out the treats on the side within a few minutes, but after putting the disk back in, she removed it again within 5 minutes. I decided to let her just eat the treat, and after that was done it only took her 10 minutes to chew the product to pieces. It was not worth the money for 30 minutes of entertainment. I still like the idea, but for other dog breeds.

My 11m border collie puppy loves his treat ball. It entertains him for hours sometimes even days at a time. It is the one toy he has not destroyed yet. My only complaint is that the treats can become messy as the dog licks on it.

Everlasting??

The first time I gave this to my three yr old mix it kept her busy for two hours. The second time, 10 min. At least the holder has held up and works OK as a treat dispenser. In my case it sure isn't worth the cost of the special treats.

I have 2 dogs that absolutely love the Starmark Treat Balls. One is a 5 lb dog and the other about 25 lbs so I had to get the small as well as the medium size balls. Both dogs think these treats are the best thing on earth. I always try to keep spare refills on hand since they love them so much. Plus it keeps them occupied for a few hours as a time!

Our babies Dallas and Fergie
Bought a medium for our lab and small for our tibbi Pom and they could not put them down. The treats lasted approx 6 hours which is great especially for our lab. The only fault I would have is that she also figured out how to take the treats out but other than that we love it.

I got one of these for my Corgi thinking it could keep him entertained for a while. It takes longer to put the treat in the ball than it does for him to remove it and eat the treat. The treats must be good because he loves it, but the ball itself doesn't hold the treat well which makes the product worthless I might as well save myself the $ and give him a milk bone. This is a great concept but poorly executed with this product. The treats are rather hard but not so hard your dog cant just get it nice and slobbery and bite chunks out of it.

Looking for toys for our two Labs the helpful clerk showed us the Starmark Treat ball. Both dogs get so excited when we get them out after putting them through some training and commands. We allow them to play and chew on them no longer than an hour. I believe they would chew on them all day if allowed. My husband claims they are like catnip for dogs. The most impressive part is how much plaque they removed from their teeth. We were told by our vet to bring them in for a dental cleaning next month at a cost of $300 for each. The design of the treat with the ridges removed all the plaque build up in 3 days. Their teeth look so good and no more bad breath! A small price for clean teeth and two dogs that love the stimulation playing and chewing on the ball and treat. We have found by limiting the toy to only an hour allows the treat and ridges to become hard again for a good tooth cleaning the following day.

I just bought this for our Mastiffs, as we go through MANY toys. We have yet to find something that seems to last any longer than a week. We bought the Large one, and it was such a hit, we had to go buy a second one so they would stop fighting over it. This toy keeps them busy for hours, so much so that we have to take it away from them so they can take a break. Within an hour of use, they were both able to get the treat out of the center. That's when we turned the treat around, and now they can't get the treat out of the toy. I gave this a rating of four stars as we have only had it for a couple of days, so I am not really sure just how long the plastic ball will last, although it does seem to be well made and on the heavy duty size. I like the fact that you can purchase new treats for the center, and you can actually put one treat in each side. If you notice your pet being able to take the treat out, I would highly suggest flipping the treat around so the dome of the treat is inside the ball, instead of pertruding outward.

Just went into petsmart today to get the everlasting treat ball, and the only two problems I've had with it so far is that I have two dogs and one ball and there's been a lot of scraping and growling around the house lately but they both get a turn. And two, the actually "everlasting" treat last about 10-15 minutes. So I'll probably only buy a refill on special occasions. I thought they would have a really hard time getting the treats out, but they've been working at it for hours and it's almost empty! So far so good, I might have to go back and buy one more, so they each can have there own! I would recommend this product to anyone with a dog that is bored and needs something to do, needs to be kept busy, and/or smart dogs! Great Product! TWO PAWS UP!

Our family was excited to get this chew toy for our 1yr old Lab mix. We gave it to him in hopes it would keep him busy and entertained for a while. He ate the treat within 15 mins of giving it to him. I was quite disappointed with this product. We will be returing the unopened refills.

We have a one year old great Dane who used to succeed in destroying most everything we brought home within hours. Everything but this ball and a Kong ball. This ball is by far his favorite though. The only downside is that once we put the treats in it he will not leave it alone until either he pops both the treats out or simply eats away at it till its gone which he can do in about 2 hours. With the cost of the treats I'm not going to replace them everyday so we usually have to take it away from him. On the upside for us he loves the ball even without the treats. Also we have had it for several months and it shows no signs of damage so it is extremely durable but not hard like the kongs. It is quite squishy which I think is part of why he likes it. All in all I would recommend this. Just know that if you have an extreme chewer you will either have an empty ball or be buying treats a lot.

My 5 month old Lab / Border Collie loves this! For a dog who usually tears through everything within a day or so, she's done really well with this. The first day I gave it to her, she played with it for TWO HOURS straight before passing out for a long nap. This is great for the scavenger instincts all dogs have -- she was so engaged in trying to get the treat out and the noises she makes (out of frustration and fun) were adorable. I recommend for any dog -- this is a great toy to give when you need to leave and go to work, store, etc.
