"this food is wonderful! my 11 year old black lab was recently put on the Nutro Max weight control and she loved it. Now she is on the Nutro Natural choice senior and she also loves this one. I have noticed a big change in her.She is now more active, no more gas and her coat is really shiny and she has not been shedding, before she lost hair constantly.My children love that there is less mess to clean up in the yard. Thank u Nutro for the great food and a changed dog!!!"

"I have an eight year old golden retriever. I have used Nutro Natural Choice foods all of her life, and never do they disappoint me, this food included! My dog loves this food (although she'll eat anything you put in front of her nose!). It's the perfect size and shape for senior dogs. If you have any age of dog (or cat, for that matter) you should use Nutro Natural Choice! Hope this review was helpful!"

What a difference!,

"We are the owners of three dogs, a soon-to-be-16-year-old Siberian Husky female, a 13 year-old Shep/Collie mix female, and a rambunctious 2 year-old Male Siberian Husky male. When we adoped the younger boy, we started looking for better options on all of their food. The girls had been raised on Pedigree, and we were happy with it. Then, we tried this product, and Wow! what a difference in the girls! (The boy gets a different brand.) Tia, the Husky, was losing her beautiful shine in her coat. Now, she is sooooo soft, and is getting around very well. She doesn't shed half as much, either. The biggest diference is in Kessie, the Shep Mix. As is prone to the breed, her hips were pretty bad. After a month of feedings, we were able to see a BIG improvement. She still has a harder time than she used to, but she can still give our 2 year-old Husky heck. Her fur is also soft and so shiny. I recommend this to any one with a senior dog. Give it a try. You (and your dog) will be glad you did."

"We're first time pet owners that adopted a lovable 9 yr old German Shepherd/Collie mix from a shelter... went to a local Petsmart where a super helpful associate recommended this to us. (Thanks Diane!!) Been feeding it to him since day 1 for about 3.5 weeks now, and what can I say? It's perfect... he's picked up some muscle tone, his coat is noticeably softer and shinier, and last but not least he seems to like it a lot. His stool was a little toothpaste-like at first, but controlled feeding using a Kong fixed that - it's now firm, compact and not too smelly. We mix it with a little canned pumpkin, Trader Joe's canned food or Nutro's canned food, but it's not necessary and works fine dry. Couldn't be more satisfied, and well worth the extra cost! I might switch to the large breed variety (Mel's just a hair over 50 lbs), but otherwise this stuff is great. Can't recommend it highly enough."

"I recently switched my 8 year old chocolate lab to Nutro Natural Choice Senior dog food. (He was previously eating Eukanuba). In just a few weeks, I've noticed a HUGE difference in the condition of his skin and coat. His skin is no longer dry and flaky and his fur is much softer. He looks amazing! It also has glucosamine & chondroiton which helps his arthritis. And there's no wheat/corn which can make them gassy. Luckily, that's no longer an issue either! I always thought Eukanuba was supposed to be such a well-respected brand and so healthy, but I guess they just have a good advertising campaign."

Stopped the shedding!,

"My 7 year old Lab mix was losing hair all over the house, I needed to vacuum everything all the time, and couldn't wear black! After a month on this food, she no longer sheds and I am thrilled! Her coat is smoother and softer and she is jumping and chasing tennis balls as if she is 2. I highly recommend this food to anyone with a dog they love!"

"I have used this product for over a year now and have noticed the difference in my yellow lab. Not only has he lost the excess weight, but he has regained his spirit and spunk, acting as his younger self rather than his actual age of 14 years. There's no doubt Natural Choice Senior is responsible for his condition and I plan on continuing it in order to keep him around for another 14 years. A great product."

My Senior Dogs,

"I have two seniors, female westie, female yorkie. I started them on all the Nurtro products approx one year ago. My Westie was diagnosed with Addison's around that time. Her health couldn't be better at present. Of course she is on medications but I feel like the balanced senior nutrition that she receives from this feed has helped her tremendously. She has lots of energy..her coat is beautiful...her stool is consistent. I give her wet and free dry."

"She has a sensative stomach. She would eat other food and it woud not stay down. Nutro did and does stay down.
It also helps her since it is designed for older dogs with joint problems.
She is happy and I an happy"

"Although my westie (Maggie) is still very active and healthy, I switched her to this product at the recommendation of my boss who had an older dog. I can say that it took some adjustment, but she likes the food and I can tell a difference in her. She is more playful and can jump up and off things that she had begun to hestitate doing. I love the product and recommend it to anyone who's dog is getting older."

"I am very satisfied with the product. My dog eats heartily, has low volume, well formed stools indicating high digestibility, and he has lots of energy for his walks around the neighborhood. It's also great that the food includes glucosomine chondritin for joint health, so I don't need an extra supplement."
