We got our English Springer Spaniel puppy at 9 weeks of age and promptly realized something was wrong with her. After many visits to vets and specialists, she was diagnosed with Megaesophagus. She was underweight...basically starving because she couldn't keep anything down. We researched a lot of puppy food (canned only for her since dry food makes her extremely sick) and settled on Natural Choice Lamb and Rice (springers also tend to have allergies, so we wanted a primarily lamb-based food). Natural Choice has a lot of nutrients packed in, so even if she could only eat a little (1 can a day at first), she was still getting really good nutrition. Today, she is 4-1/2 months old and extremely healthy. She is normal weight for her age with beautiful coat and healthy bones. We do have to feed her upright, but that is the ONLY adjustment we now have to make for the Mega-E. She is up to 3 cans a day (and would eat more if we'd let her :-))! Thank you Nutro...you helped save our Springer baby's life!

I tried a whole bunch of different brands of dog food, but my puppies would not eat it. I had to buy meat for them and cook it. My friend recommended Nutro Natural Choice, and what a miracle - the dogs love it! I don't have to run around wondering what to feed them. Besides, they don't use preservatives, and I would buy this food just for that.

My puppy LOVES this stuff. He has eaten this and the rice, chicken and oatmeal formulas in both the canned food and bagged sloid food since we first got him. We tried a commercial brand and he didn't like it as much. It was almost like he wasn't eating at all. Plus, I've done some comparing and Nutro Natural Choice, all Nutro for that matter is alot healthier. They don't use by-products.
