Pros: last a long time
"I love these bones! I have a strong chewer and these take her months to finish! and they are PetsHotel approved, so you're dog will have something to chew while they stay. I highly recommend these if other bones don't last long for your pup."

"This is by far one of the best products available for dogs. My dog loves getting a new bone with the filling, but is also just as happy when I refill one of her old bones with peanut butter. My dog is a heavy chewer (rips apart most toys in about a day or two), but these bones seem to last forever. She's had a Dently's Sterilized bone for over 9 months and is still chewing away. Excellent product, I highly recommend!"

"These bones are the safest chew toys for heavy chewers. They last a long time, it's hard to break off large pieces, and they're sterilized.
While some people use soup bones from the supermarket as an alternative, these are NOT safe for most dogs. They're not sterilized and the marrow section (the inside) is much larger. As a vet tech, I can't tell you the number of dogs I've seen with their lower jaws stuck inside the center of those bones.
My dogs LOVE these things even without any filling and I trust them to be safe. Plus, they're cheaper than rawhide!"

What a great bone,

"After my 1 yr old Pyr chewed through her loveseat we knew that we needed something that would last longer than a few hours. She went through a standard 2ft rawhide in less than two days and the thing cost almost $20! Then a friend recommended these and I am soooo glad she did. Josie loves to just lay down and try to whittle it away, so far, after a week, she has only gotten a few cm off the bone, and she is a 90lb heavy chewer!! When she seems to lose interest in it because it isn't a quick chew, we simply fill it with peanut butter, and she has a renewed interest! LOVE IT!!!!!!"

"we bought the un-filled one for my dog and he loves it! They are a bit heavy though. he chews on it for at least an hour a day! we bought another one because he didn't have much inside toys and now he rotates from his Nylabone to these ones! He even made a game out of droping them on the lenoleum kitchen floor and sliding it around and poucing on it like a little kitten. His tail wags so hard you'd think it would fall off!"

"I bought the big hollow bone for my rottie. She wasn't all that interested in it until I filled it with peanutbutter. She loves it and will carry it with her until it is licked completely clean again. She's 11 yrs old and not such an aggresive chewer but my 15 week old pyr puppy is your typical teething puppy and even his sharp puppy teeth haven't widdled it down very quickly. I think it will take them a good long time to get this finished off."

"My dog loves the stuffed bones! I never see him sit so pretty as when I take the wrapper off of a new bone. He loves the filling and to chew the bone and I love that keeps him calm and occupied long enough to have dinner or watch a movie! He just lays with it wagging his tail. Thank you!"

"I have a small dog who loves to chew and destroy everything she can get her teeth into. This bone is the only thing that she can't destroy...and it is her favorite "toy" in her toy basket. It's the first thing she runs to every day, and it keeps her busy for a while! If your dog is a strong chewer, this is the one thing you need!"

"I have a border collie, two labs and a papillon--and all of them LOVE these bones. They really seem to enjoy the taste, and the texture of the bone--and these treats last a long time. I like them for my dogs, too--as they keep the dog busy (for hours), stimulating their mind (and keeping them out of trouble), and they also help keep their teeth clean.
I would greatly appreciate, however--more natrual ingredients in the filling. However, I would still recommend these bones to anyone looking for an enjoyable treat for their dog. :)"

"My dog loves this stuff, and it smells SO good! It's one of the few dog products that you might actually think about tasting yourself. It always makes me want pancakes. The filling is a good thick consistently, so it takes a really long time for the dog to eat."
