This
bed was bought for my 13-year old Alpha. At night time, only she slept
on it. The thickness and firmness helped support her old bones. It is
large enough for a 90 lb German Shepard to lay across. During the day
it is THE bed for the other dogs to sleep on. I never knew who or how
many I will find napping on this bed. It is the favorate. The bed is
now over 4 years old and still as supportive as new. The fake sheep
cover is still thick and provides warmth and softness. As of yet, it
has NOT developed what lower quality beds develop - a divit in the
center or edges that go flat. I highly recommend this for any older
dog. I also recommend it for dogs with hip displasia. Or any dog that
you want to spoil. For this bed is the favorate out of all 5 doggie beds that I
have laying around the house. It is the BEST bed.

My dog is 14 years old and has arthritis. She is a large dog and this bed is perfect for her. She loves it and sleeps comfortably on it! The cover comes off easily so you can wash it.

We purchased the large size for our 60 lb am staff mix. Even after using it in the crate for several weeks after his knee surgery, the bed kept it's shape. The covering is heavy duty with lambswool imitation top and washes very well. I highly recommend this bed as many beds do not have a zip off cover nor do they retain their shape for very long. Our bed is over a year old and still like new.

We have 2 dogs who are normal size. They absolutely love this bed! They both fit on it perfectly, and it fits perfectly in their crate. The used to chew up all of their other beds, but since this one is stuffed with foam instead of stuffing, they never chew it up! It lasted a year before we got them a new one because it got a little dirty and started to smell. We got them the same one, and they love it!

I got this bed 2 xmas's ago for my old Bassett Hound Floyd, He Loved it and so did my cat's. After Floyd passed away our Yellow Lab puppy fell in love with this bed as well. its only 2yrs old the bed but the rope is coming out from around the edges, the zipper its stuck on the string thats loose. and the white top never comes out clean or soft after washing it, i wash it once amonth and hang to dry i have only put it in the dry twice since getting it. i wish i could order just another cover. but i'll be making a new cover since i cant. the bedding it self is great and is still doing a great good. i do reccomenned this bed to ppl. 3 of my friends have got the same bed now for there dogs.

My dogs love it! I love it! But.... I have chewers and they have destroyed the fleece cover - big holes and more to come. The foam is intact... why don't you offer a replacement cover? I think others would like this also, since one could buy one for when the original was being laundered, repaired, etc.
Honestly... you really need to offer replacement covers for all your beds...

Bought this bed for my 14yr old Golden Retriever, 65lbs. She loved it but it quickly broke down (2mths). The removeable, washable cover is great but after 4 washes the seams disintegrated and couldn't be repaired. If this bed had held up as expected I would have given a raving review. Instead, I'm looking for a replacement and can't recommend this one.

I brought this bed for my 8 year old red doberman pinscher.
He loves it! I think its the most comfortable and durable dog bed that I have ever brought! When he streches out he kinda hangs over the edge but thats just his arms and legs it supports his body perfectly. I strongly recommend this bed for dog with arthritis.

We bought this bed for our lab/boxer mix in Jan 2011, it is now
March 2011, just 2 months later and the bed has a circular slump in the middle of it. After spending $70 on this bed I would expect it to last longer than 2 months before slumping like it did.Our dog weighs about 57 lbs. She isn't that big of a dog. We got the large bed. Size-wise, she has plenty of room on this bed to move all around when she sleeps. The sheep skin like cover is nice and soft .
We have washed it ( the cover) and it held up okay. I'm just really disappointed that the bed slumped in the middle. I wouldn't spend the money on this bed again. Probably do better to buy a memory foam mattress cover and cut it and double it up and make yourself a cover .

Purchased this item for my 100 pound lab mix, this to reclaim space in my bed. The product was visually appealing and appeared to be worth the $100. By day ten (10), he was back to sleeping with me. The center of the dog mattress had flattened, creating an undesireable bowl. With no stated weight guidelines for product use I clearly wasted my money. The advertising picture shows a thirty lb dog enjoying the 'New' product. This is a strong "Don't Buy" for larger dogs.

My large greyhound uses this bed day and night (so do my 2 cats when he lets them). The cover is washable and comes on and off easily with the zipper. The foam is thick, and, with a normal dog, would stand up well to wear and tear. Greyhounds like to dig at their bed, so I have to purchase a new one, but 1 bed has lasted us for 2 years. It travels easily and lies flat in most trunks. We're definitely getting another!

Pros: travels well, washable, great size selection

Cons: not much would love to embroider with dog's name!

We purchased several dog beds for our greyhound before we finally spent the money for this one. Our dog loves it. He appears to be very comfortable whether sleeping on his side or on his back. My husband and I just purchased a Tempurpedic bed and of course we felt bad about our dog laying on her old thing when we had something new. I picked this out as we could say it had the same concept to what we got. Well, it has been a big hit. She loves it! In fact, I find her getting into some good sleeps with loud snoring going on. When she is not using it, I now have my indoor/outdoor cat catching a nice nap on it once in a while. I'm now thinking of buying another one for a different room in the house so other pets can get a good night sleep. I also had it for some time now and I don't see any wear happening. It is holding up well. Be like us as we treated ourselves, so it is always great to treat your pet:)

My dog loves his bed. This is a good product, the only draw back is finding a replacement cover. See, the zipper broke after a few years of use and I'm having trouble finding a new cover.

The foam holds up well, but you can tell the spot where my dog lays on it the most.

Don't buy this bed if you have a large dog. It just doesn't hold up. The covers don't last long at all and the foam will not support a heavy dog. Too expensive a product to fall apart. They need to put a warning on it that it is not suitable for large dogs.

for the price i am appalled at the product. the dogs use it, but it's flimsy. i bought it for my 95lb dog that has arthritis all through the lower back, hipsand knees. the lambs wool is too thin and is see through. i haven't even washed the cover and am afraid to. the foam sagged and compessed in 2 weeks!!! we've had it for 3-4 months. looking for something new.

I bought this bed for my tall, 95-pound greyhound. The largest size is big enough for extra-large dogs. If my dog lies on it for a while, there will be a large indent in the bed, but so far (after a few months of use) it will "bounce back" after he's been off it a while.

One reason I bought it is because with other beds, the stuffing would get moved around and there would be some parts of the bed which were high and overstuffed, and some which had no stuffing. One bad thing about those beds is that they're difficult to move around, since when they're moved, the stuffing moves around also and gets uneven. This bed doesn't do that which is good, and that's one thing I really like about it.

My dog loves the bed mostly, but he seems to find it too warm sometimes (if he's warm, for example after running, or if it's a very warm day and is warm in the house).

I hate the faux sheepskin/sherpa cover. My dog sometimes paws at the bed (nests) before lying down, and small fluffs of the white sherpa material end up all over the carpet around the bed. Also, the sherpa material picks up things like tiny pieces of dog treat crumbs, grass, etc. and they stick to it like velcro. The bottom and sides of the bed look nice, but not the top, which is also now a discoloured, dirty off-white colour. This is the only real negative thing about the bed.
