"My Lassie And T-Bone love Kongs toys. The Kong toy keeps them busy and entertained when we are not home. I filled them with peanut butter and dogfood and treats. The Kongs are very strong for my 2 power chewers. I have bought Kongs for years and they lasted for several years and counting. I would definately recommend Kongs."

great training toy,

"My dog had severe seperation anxiety when he was one. My vet suggested the kong as part of his daily training to help ease his anxiety. To my suprise it worked very well within a few weeks he did much better. I would put treats in it so it would occupy his time, after awhile all i had to do was show it to him and he knew i was leaving and ok about it. I just got a new puppy and Ive used it from day one and it works even better. The kong is a great toy and training tool. I will always use the kong with my pets they love it, its a great treat for all of us."

God's gift to a dog owner,

"I have a very entergetic miniature daschund and there are times when I get home from work and she just wants to play, play, play. Well, when I'm too tired to play I take some yogurt drops and stick them in the kong and she will go at it for hours just trying to get the treats out. It gives me a chance to relax or get stuff done around the house without the puppy at my feet. WONDERFUL!!"

"What a wonderful invention. Do you need 15 minutes with no one bringing you toys or begging for a walk? Put a little peanut butter or cheese and a kong cookie in one of these bad boys and your pup will be so busy trying to get every bit of the tasty treat out, you might even get to watch that tv show with no one standing on your lap!"

"Someone bought us a Kong as a puppywarming gift when she discovered we were getting a Golden Retriever. She said her dog had one and loved his.
Little did we know, seven years later our dog STILL loves his kong! AND THIS IS WITHOUT EVER PUTTING TREATS IN IT. I don't know if it's the way it bounces, or how it fits in his mouth, but our dog would be lost without it.
And ANY dog toy that can last this long, let alone keep a pet's interest this long, deserves 10 stars, not 5."

"My dog loves trying to get treats from this thing, and it keeps her busy for hours. I am a huge avocate of this product, and once I got my dog, the first thing I did was got her a KONG. It may not seem like much at first, but for the time it keeps your dog busy, it should be worth a million dollars."

Harley and his Kong.
"I got this for my 6 month old beagle because hes a super chewer. I wanted to try this one before the extreme kong, to see how he likes it. He absolutely loves it. We've had it for a few weeks, and he is starting to do some damage. Its only a matter of time before he destroys it, but its well worth the money. He chews on it for hours a day, and it keeps him occupied."

Pros: can be stuffed with treats, durable, occupies your dog for 15-20 minutes on average.
"My dog doesn't seem too interested in KONGs... unless of course there's some stuff'n in it. We use Ziggies and our boxer loves them. The rubber is durable even through half-hour chewing sessions."

"I have a german shepard mix and hace tried the kong products. I have to say for something to say it will give you dog hours of chewing fun and that it is so tuff, my dog chew its up in about 2 hours. There is nothing left to play with. I have found the only product she keeps around for at least 2 weeks of chewing is the Hartz Aqua Bone and nobody carries them. I have to order them on line."

"For years I enjoyed the use of a kong with some pretty "heavy hitters." My Rottweilers used the same Large Black Kong for several years. Recently I lost a couple of old Kongs to new dogs. The dogs are a 88 lb Golden Mix and a 66 lb Pit. They have decimated the new kongs in short order. I had to go to the largest size, which the pits can hardly get their mouth around. I may be wrong, but I am convinced that the formula is different. This is probably a good product for many dogs, but not truly aggressive chewers anymore. I have found a new toy (material) that does hold up and offers replacement if it is destroyed (like Kong used to)."

Pros: it will last long. made very strong!, very versatile Cons: it's not a cheap toy for the money, a small puppy might not like the red one too much
"I love this toy for my dog it keeps her busy. I was dog sitting a big chocolate lab and we have a small one for our pug puppy. Even the lab could NOT break it. The plastic on this product is made very strong. The only thing is the red one is definitely not for puppiess and more for dogs because it's made too strong. However if you buy a red one FOR your puppy she/he will most likely grow into it. Buyers should be advised as it does say on the package that the red ones are made for full grown dogs and the blue and pink ones are made of a much softer plastic for smaller puppies with teeth that aren't that sharp. Ether choice that you make it's a good buy and will LAST for a while. My puppies still enjoys it very much. Put peanut butter in it and freeze it. Watch your dog go nutz!"

"My dog (2 yo hound mix) absolutely loves this toy. she can entertain herself with it for a long time and if she gets up from it and is still hyper all you have to do is give it a good bounce and she'll be all over it again for another 20 minutes. I use it to keep her entertained while we eat dinner and to distract her when the neighbor's cats are outside."

"My dog LOVES his new Kong and it keeps him occupied when I'm at work (he usually won't touch treats or toys when he's home alone b/c of separation anxiety). The best part is that he isn't able to instantly destroy it like every other toy he's had. I had nearly stopped buying him new ones until I saw this. A little messy when using the liver paste/peanut butter but easy to clean, just soak it in hot soapy water for a few minutes. Much better than having a toy in a million pieces all over the living room! Highly recommended."
