Pros: chewable and hard to break, dont need a treat in it
"My puppy cannot leave her kongball alone. We put peanut butter or a treat in and she will spend the entire day chewing on it. My larger dog loves his too. If you put an ice cube in a kong ball during the summer your dog can cool off."

"My puppy loves it. Only catch is that it has to be stuffed with a treat. I think best treat for this toy is Puppy Ziggies. because I can insert the Ziggies in the Kong and pull out only amount I want her to eat(no clean up). Also it takes her a while to eat the treat because it is partcially inserted in the Kong.
Only bad thing is that it's hard to clean and I had to give up on putting peanut butter inside but thats the trade off for being a small puppy size. Still an excellent toy as long as used with "Puppy Ziggies"."

Pros: has hole so you can fill it in
Cons: smells bad, hard to clean
"My chihuahua did not touch this toy at all. We tried putting some peanut butter in it and he only licked the inside to try and get the peanut butter out. He did not like this toy at all, but I dont blame him. I picked it up and smelt it and it smelled like rubber, a very bad smell. I do and do not recomend this toy to others because all dogs are different. I bought this toy because of all its good ratings and because I heard Kong is a good brand. I do prefer the Puppy Kong Goodie toy with Dog Bone more.

"We use this toy when we crate our puppy. It's his crate toy and we fill it with a smidge of peanut butter or half a milkbone. It keeps our puppy occupied and less stressed when we leave him. I like this product because not only does it keep a teething pup busy, it also forces him to use his mind and figure out how to get the treats out."

"My yorkie puppy loved this toy for the first few days. We filled it with treats and the scent drove her crazy. She chewed on it for awhile and then just dumped it. So I changed out treats for the pasty stuff, and she still didn't want anything to do with it. I even tried her favorite treats in it. I guess she just doesn't want to work that hard for her treats."

"when i first got it my dogs were so happy but after a while it started to mold. we got the pink one and by the end of the next week (onley using it once , washing it and drying it) it turnd as green as the summer time grass... after going to petsmart ten times getting the same thing and having the same thing happen i finaly gave up."

Nice Quality, but no filling equals no fun,

"I got the puppy kong for my puggle and I must say the quality of the toy is great, very durable however once the filling is gone the fun ends.
I find that the biscuit filling is either eaten in about a minute or my puppy chews the end of the biscuit off and then the rest of the biscuit falls inside so she can't get it, which frustrates her. Basically if there is no filling left or she can't get to the filling inside she is totally uninterested.
I also used the canned filling and that is gone in minutes too while it is very messy.
It's a durable toy that I had hoped she would use for chewing however she can't carry it around due to the fact there is really no area where she can attach her teeth, so it mainly just sits.
If you have a bigger dog and a big chewer I can see this would be a good toy because of the durablity, but for smaller breeds and pups maybe not so much?"

"i have a 12 week old yellow labrador retriever. she likes to chew on everything, she began chewing on my carpet and pulling it up, so when i took her to the vet, he recommended getting a kong. 1 hour later i took her to petsmart, and bought her the large pink puppy kong, and box of large stuffing treats (chicken and rice flavor), she loves her kong and it keeps her busy for long periods at a time. i am very satisfied with it, and i know i will soon be buying the extreme kong when she gets to be an adult"

"I use this with the Kong Puppy Liver Paste Stuff'n and it occupies my four month old chihuahua for about ten minutes. Most times the paste gets pushed all the way to the back where she cannot reach it so I have to assist her. I like the soft rubber texture."

"I bought this for my cockpoo puppy. She likes to eat her Eukanuba Small Breed Puppy Kibble out of the small hole at the top, and to lick the Kong Stuffin' Peanut Butter formula out of the inside. She will eat out of it, but doesn't really chew on it. Overall, GREAT PRODUCT. I think this is the best invention since the lightbulb!!!"

"My parents have corgis and have bought kongs for them and they love them specially when you put peanut butter in them. When I got my puppy I had to buy her one. She loves it. She doesn't just play with it all the time but I also put a small amount of peanut butter in it and it helps with distracting her so I can get some things done around the house with out worrying that she is chewing up the house."
