I have a 50lb Pitt/Pointer mix that is a rescue dog. He loves his Nylabone! He will sit and chew on it for a long time which is good for his teeth and keeps him from chewing on other things. We have bought all kinds of dog toys but he tears them to shreds. His Nylabone has survived and is still intact! I recommend this product!

We have a ten month golden retriever pup who is a voracious chewer. He loves Nylabone products and this one is no exception. He's been working on this for several months and has just started to make a dent on one side. I'd definitely recommend this for dogs who love to chew!

I purchased the wolf size for my puppy (he is now approximately 10 months old, about 60lbs and is a hound/shepherd mix). He has chewed through EVERYTHING. These are really the only bones that can actually last him a few months; its been great.

The downside is they do get quite dirty and also can get sharp after they have been chewed awhile. My dog has had other rawhides, bones, etc and he just tears them apart in minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a chewer.

**As a side note, I did buy my dog one of the nyla bone rubber stick things. That did not last like the dog bones do**

I have a 25lb. beagle/dachshund mix and a 5lb. long-haired chihuahua. They both LOVE their Nylabones. We came across these kind of accidentally when we were fostering a pit/shepherd mix. He was a big-time chewer and he loved his Nylabone. We got one for our 25lb. dog and she loved it so much, we ended up getting her some different ones in different shapes. Her favorite is the one that looks like a knuckle bone. We got one for our chihuahua for Christmas and he loves it too. They hold up really well. I will always be a fan. :)

My dog is a heavy chewer and this is so far the best bone I have found, as he seems to wear the ends down and I worry that he may also injest what he chews. This one just flakes off and is pretty hard compared to some of the bones. Pretty loud when he drops it off the furniture on the floor.

My 3 year old lab is notorious for destroying toys within minutes, including eating the remnants. I tried one of these bones and I was amazed. She tries so hard to destroy it asap, but never succeeds! One of these bones can last a good Month+ which is just WOW for her toy life. Very happy with the purchase and have bought many over the years.

Lab's Favourite Chew Toy!

When I first saw the "Nylabone" it completely flew under the radar for me. I thought my 3 year old lab would be uninterested in the toy, and ignore it like many others. But when I saw her happily chewing on another dog's Nylabone, I decided to give it a shot. Usually, she gets bored with the long lasting toys VERY quickly, or within minutes destroys the toys she actually has an interest in. Kongs are the only exception, but even then she would only chew them when they are stuffed.

So, when I brought home an original-flavoured Nylabone, I was VERY impressed with her interest in the toy! She immediately brought it to her "mat" and started happily chewing away. My only concern is the durability. She is an extremely powerful and enthusiastic chewer (typical lab :P ) & the one end she is "focusing" on is quite frayed. No huge chunks have come off, but in maybe a week or two, I will probably have to size up quite a bit.

But, because of how satisfied my lab is with this product, it's definitely worth it. First chew toy that Magic has an avid interest in (besides those that are smothered in peanut butter!), one of the best dog toy decisions I've made yet!!

This is the only brand other than Kong that I know my Pit bull can not destroy in three minutes, all of the Nylabone products hold up very well. My only complaint is how sharp they get on the ends but that is when I know it is time to get a new Nylabone.

It took our 7 month maltipoo less than 30 minutes to destroy one of these and we had gotten him the one for a mid size dog. It isn't so much that he destroyed it, he proceeds to eat everything he chews up. Consequently he can have nothing in his crate at nap and nighttime.

Such a reliable chew for our dog, one of the few things I'm confident leaving in the crate with her. Had it for a few months now...it only has tiny signs of fraying on the nubs and she still loves it...does not look like any big pieces will be torn off anytime soon.

I've bought Nylabones for my previous fosters and the two dogs I have now, and all of them have adored them. Much more economical than rawhide (and rawhide unless compressed isn't digestible, so much safer as well) and they last a very long time - I have a power chewer of my own.

Pros: lasts long, easy to clean, dogs love them

I bought one of these for my dog to chew on, even though she is not a hardcore chewer. She ended up breaking a small piece off in the first day and lost interest in the toy shortly after! She occasionally likes to "bury" it (she lifts up the corner of her bedding in her crate and stuffs it under there) and carry it around her in mouth, but she doesn't do much else with it. I think if I had gotten a flavored one it would've fared better with her!

I work at a PetsHotel and we used to allow these in our camps before we started to notice that a lot of the dogs would become toy aggressive over these. It seems as though all dogs want one of these, even dogs that are not interested in toys. Just beware of that if you have multiple dogs in your house.

On the plus side, its a toy that is loved by pretty much all. It comes in varying sizes and even flavors and strengths.
On the other hand, it can cause toy aggressiveness. Also, persistent chewers will get small bits of hard plastic off of these. They'll either eat it or leave it on the floor/couch/wherever so just keep an eye out. I can't imagine those would be pleasant to step on w/o shoes on..

These are the best bones around. Our two dogs absolutely love these. No matter what flavor. They last for months and will entertain them for hours on end. Our shar-pei takes it everywhere with him around the house and it looks like a cigar sticking out of his mouth. Our pug loves to sit at our feet and chew on it until she is tired. By far the best investment and safest chew out there. Yes sometimes the nylon shreads get on the carpet, but the puggie likes to walk by and lick them up. I was always worried about raw hide and choking but I never have to worry about these. They are a doggy treat staple!

Our 3 year old 60 lb Lab just loves this chew bone. We've been getting Nylabones for her since she was a puppy and they are the only ones that last for any length of time with her.

Our Lab has a few other Nylabones (rhino super tuff, big chew beef bone and the Knot bone) but this one is by far her favorite.

Not only does she take it with her where ever she goes in the house, but she also likes us to play with it with her. We slide it on the floor (hard wood floors) and she chases after it or catches it by putting her paws on it. We call it dog hockey. LOL

For our Lab, this bone lasts four to six months with daily chewing. Her favorite flavours are chicken and chocolate.

My boyfriend purchased a value pack that included two of these Durable Nylabones in the bacon flavour. Immediately after tearing one of these bones out of its packaging and tossing it to the ground our Shiba Inu raced to claim his new toy.

We use to buy plush, tennis ball, and rope toys for him, but after doing some research on the topic I learned that none of those were doing him [or us] any good. So, we decided to invest in something more durable, e.g. Nylabone, Orka, Kong.

Our 24lb puppy has managed to chew rice/grain-sized fragments off the ends of the Nylabone; however, according to the enclosed manual, it is safe for him to ingest. Even our newly adopted tabby is finding interest in this chew toy.

Pros: durable, doesn't make a mess

Cons: hard to clean chewed ends

This is a great chew toy. I make frequent visits to my humane society, as well as have many friends with dogs. Every one has enjoyed the chew. It makes me feel so good to see the dogs at the shelter busily chewing on their Nylabone. My friend says, "My Yorkie loves it. He always carries it around. He's addicted or something."

It's not like they eat it, either. It lasts a LONG time and isn't fatty or unhealthy. It is a great alternative to rawhide, and you don't have to go out and buy new rawhides every week. It lasts, as well as removes tartar from the dog's teeth.

It comes in great sizes and flavours, and dogs just LOVE them. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but compared to how long your dog will enjoy it, it's pretty cheap! Think of it this way: Rawhide- $1. Time spent chewing- 30 minutes. Nylabone- $13. Time spent chewing- Months. These have become my favourite chews on the market.

Pros: long- lasting, dogs love them, healthy

This is a wonderful product, my dog absolutely loves it. This is the only product I've found, besides the Kong toys, that my dog doesn't destroy in five minutes. It also doesn't encourage him to tear up our furniture as much as the rawhides do. I will never buy another bone for him unless it is a nylabone.
