This is one of the best toys we've bought for our puppies. They are 5 month old lab mixes who are full of energy and they absolutely love this toy. We only bought one and now we have to get another one because they will chase each other all over to have this toy to chew on. It is a very durable toy and I think the bacon flavor on it is pretty strong because they have other flavored toys and they ignore those when this one is out. Excellent toy!

This was one of the first toys I bought for my Chihuahua/Yorkie mix when I got him, and he loved it. He looked so cute wandering around the house holding a little fish in his mouth, and, as much as he chewed, even he couldn't tear it up. I just wish we hadn't lost it on vacation.

I have a rott mix that is very hard on toys. I had a feeling that just by the way the toy felt that he'd chew it up. Sure enough, he had the tail off and then the rest of it in pieces. A friend of mine has had her puppy fish for her dog for 5 years tho. it's just NOT for tough chewers.

My 16 week, 8# Teddy Bear puppy liked this small toy so much that he had chewed most of the head off and part of the tail in about an hour. He managed to get big chunks of the clear head material off the fish. Since this was a Nylabone probuct, I expected a much better quality. Really sad.

"I have a female baby Choco Lab. She is teething and chewing on everything in site, so I went and ordered a bunch of chew toys. This, the Kong Duck & Grannick's Bitter Apple Spray were a God sent! This is one of her favorite new toys and keeps her entertained for a good while. She is no longer wandering around looking for shoes.
Please be adviced though, that the small is very small, you should only get the small for small breeds or very young puppies."

This product is fabulous. We got the glow-in-the-dark one at a Petsmart store. The others behind it weren't glow-in-the-dark so I think they're stop making them that way. The bacon flavor is great and my dog loves it. She plays with it for at least 15 minutes at a time, giving me some respite! :) And it's great at night when we put her in the crate in the dark. The scales come up after chewing and help her gums and teeth. Great for teething puppies. We got the smallest one (she's a maltese/ cocker spaniel mix). Highly recommended!

My 8 wek old puppy loved this toy, i felt comfortable leaving him alone with it, but my older dog has chewed it to tiny chunks. My puppy loved this toy because he could play wit it while he was in his cage at night when it was dark.

I say this because it is durable, my puppy loves it and because big chunks do not come off for her to swallow, and it lasts a long time. Quality item highly recommended and puppy tested. We started with a small fish, and because our puppy grew so fast had to get the larger fish.

The Nylabone Puppy Fish chew is the ONLY chew toy that my 100 lb black lab cannot totally destroy in less than a day. In fact, it takes her about 3 months to enjoy it. The design is great because it can easily be held in her paws and it helps keep her teeth healthy. She loves her Puppy Fish. I will continue to buy this product on a regular basis.

You know, I made fun of my boyfriend for buying this chew toy for our new puppy - - thinking, I suppose, that a puppy fish seemed a little strange. I bought the large version of this for my beagle puppy who is about 9 months old. I can not believe that he sat quiet for about 3 hours chewing away on it! Of course he went right for the tail though so after he chewed it off I had to take the loose tail away from him. After the tail was gone it lasted quite awhile. Just watch your pups with the tail. They will knaw right through it.

I have a 10 week old Yorkie-Poo and she loves this toy. It's one of her favorites and she'll spend hours chewing on this fish. She had some reallly weak jaws when I got her, but now her jaws are much stronger and she can chew her puppy chow much easier.

One of our labs is a big chewer, the other, not so much but neither one can get enough of these puppy fish. They don't last as long as some of the other toys we've purchased, but that's probably because they receive 100% more attention. I've had a hard time finding these in the stores so I'm stocking up. My dog went through a couple of these while she was teething. Her interest in them was sometimes hit and miss but when she wanted it, she would chew and teeth on it for long stretches and the texture seems just right.
