Wonderful,

"Not only is does this gate not look cheap, it's super sturdy and works. It's great for short people too, since it's not as tall as most gates. The cats can jump over it with no problem when the little door isn't open, but it keeps the dogs out all the time. I would highly recommend this item."

Love the Heigth,
August 16, 2007
by Maveric

"I have a Yorkie who is 10lbs. I got this gate for a door way. My problem was is my Yorkie likes to wonder and get into things. It got to the point that we always hung out in a room with a door I could shut. The down fall to that is it's very anti social. The gate made it so I could block him off with out shutting every else out. The gate was easy to put up and looks nice too. I wish all the gates on the market looked as nice as this. Another positive is I can walk over it. This product isn't good for large dogs due to the heigth. I would recomend this gate to any small to medium dog owner."

LIFE SAVER - FABULOUS PRODUCT!,
June 20, 2007
by mizzv
from Staten Island, NY
"My miniature chihuahua Mugsy was driving us crazy! He would constantly go into the cat litter box and drag cat feces all over the house! Not cool. We tried all sorts of suggestions from the vet - including giving a treatment to the cat food to make their feces taste bad to the dog. This didn't stop our dog whatsoever - he was determined!! We already tried purchasing a regular-sized pet gate to block off the room where the litter box is. Two of our cats had no problem getting over the gate by jumping, but we also have an elderdy, pudgy cat who couldn't jump so high. This "petite" gate is the PERFECT size for my older cat to jump over and still just high enough to keep my little dog out. In addition, it is made of gorgeous wood and is quite attractive. It took about 10 minutes to install and since then (over a month ago) things have been fantastic. Thank you so much for offering this product - it has preserved our sanity!!!"

Great As Alternative to Crate-Training ...,
March 19, 2007
by Steelady
from Chicago, IL
"Got this as an alternative to crate-training my older, small dog and it works great at keeping her confined -- especially at night. Small door is perfect for her, and low profile great for me (and the cats) to step over with ease ... Wish they made one that fit wider doorways ..."

Wish it came in a wider size, too.,

"We have one of these gates in the doorway from Kitchen to Living room and wish they made one just like it for the wider doorway from kitchen to dining room. It tightens up to the doorframe without having to drill holes and mess up the wood. The little door is good, too. The dog knows if it is open, it's OK to go thru."
