Pros: rinses out fast, does not leave a residue behind, fresh clean scent

"First let me start by saying, this shampoo (apperance wise) is comparable to human shampoo. It is thick and lathering with moisturizing beads and smells fresh and clean...it could easily be mistaken for human shampoo if you didn't see the label.

I am not a fan of bathing cats...I have been a cat Mom for 16 years now. My baby Smokie is 17 years old and the whole time I have had him, I bathed him once. He is an indoor only cat so baths weren't necassary as I groomed him daily. Recently though, he suffered a stroke which has left him unable to walk though he can move his legs. I was searching for something to remove the urine smell from his fur. I care for him around the clock but even when I catch him being wet right away, there is still some urine that soaks his fur.

I decided on Hartz because it is a fimilar name and the price was excellent. When I opened the bottle to bathe Smokie for the first time I was surprised at how little it took to suds up. It rinsed out fast and left his fur, even while wet softer and most importantly odor free. The shampoo smells so fresh and clean. When he was completely dry his fur was soft and fluffy and had a nice smell to it. The best part is, the large bottle will last a very long time.

This is an awesome product!"

"Smells great! Makes my cat's coat nice and shiny. Relieves much of her dryness/itching, especially in this hot weather. Highly recommend!"
