My son's black labs have been enjoying Royal Canin for over eight years. The vet recommended this product when the dogs were young, and my son insists it is the only food they should eat. My husband and I have offered the labs other dog food and treats, but the younger dog has allergies and seems to react to some foods. By using only Royal Canin, the black labs have beautiful, healthy coats and lots of energy! We are very happy they have the benefits of a truly nutritious food made specially for their age, size and breed.

My lab Bailey has been eating this for seven years now and she absolutely loves it! She is in excellent health at 8 years old and has a beautiful coat. We switched her right after puppy food and she hasn't had anything since. When we first switched from puppy food, we tried mixing it with the new food, but she picked it all out and left the puppy food. Great product that every lab owner should feed their pup.

this dog food is the perfect dog food if you have a lab!!!!! My white lab dakota absolutly loves this food!! She would always gobble up her food, and I got concerned about her digestion and health.After trying this food, dakota is forced to slow down when she eats, and I am seeing an improvment in her coat, temperment, and personality!!!This food focuses on this breed's specific needs, and that's what I love about this dog food!!!I would DEFINETLY consider this dog food to anyone with a labrador retriever!!!

Royal Canin takes the guess work out of buying dog food. Their breed-specific diets are tailored to the dog's unique needs. For Labs that are prone to hip displacia, they've even included amounts of chondroitin & glucosamine in the food for their joints (the same supplements human runners use)! We've been feeding our Labrador Retriever this brand for 8 months now & even the vet is impressed w/the results. We're looking at a German Shepherd as a new addition to our family & will definitely be trying Royal Canin's German Shepherd food.

I have two labs and they both LOVE it! One of my labs would always eat her food like she's never eaten before, now she takes her time and chews and hasent choked since I bought it for her. My other lab always got yeast ear infections to the point where the vet said he might become def! His ears are much better! All in all this food is great and my dogs love it.

We have a chocolate lab. We had struggled with her eating habit because no matter what we did to her food, she would swallow it whole without chewing it. We tried everything we could think of, and finally we broke down and bought this food. We were feeding her another premium brand for large breeds when we switched. The kibble is actually much larger, which I think forces her to chew it up. She has not choked at all since we started her on this, and what used to take 5 minutes for her to eat, now takes about a half hour. She looks healthy now, her coat is shiny and smooth, she poops less, and overall she seems to be much happier. I would recommend this food to anyone owning a labrador retriever! If you are considering a new food, please try this one, you really owe it to your dog.

i have three senior labs, two who can eat anything and the other who is extremely picky (very un-lab like)! i've tried many different products and he never seemed to like anything and even was starting to lose weight b/c he didn't like any food offered to him. once i started using this food, the picky one immediately loved it! the other two are crazy about it as well! after a couple of weeks of feeding them this food, their coats are so much better and shinier, shedding has calmed down noticeably. and the picky one is at a perfect weight! my parents were amazed to see how great they looked in just a couple of weeks! good thing about this product too is that i don't have to feed them as much as i used to compared other products since this one is more nutritious and well-balanced compared to all other products i've tried. also, they seemed to be a lot more like puppies again and seem more energetic than they were a year ago!

Best Lab Food Ever!!

My yellow lab use to shed like crazy, and started loosing furr on his sides. Once I switched him to this food I noticed a tremendous change. His coat looks shiny, he doesn't shed as much, and his furr started growing back where he had bald patches. This food is great and every Lab owner should feed theirs Royal Canin.

This is a great brand of dog food. My lab had really bad ear infections but that was because of the food that she was on as soon as we switched to royal canin her ears have been fine. Also her coat looks and feels better and she doesn't shed almost at all were before she was shedding really bad.
