Excellent for Allergy issues in Westies!,

"I have two White West Highland Terriers with different types of coats (one silky; one rough) who lose much of their fur to allergies. We have been to the allergist; made changes in our home; used medications and special shampoos; tried special foods and diets ... with very little success and nothing which lasted more than two months.
A little over two years ago, Ken, a dog trainer at PetSmart, recommended the Royal Canin with the Westie pictured on the front. Since we had tried so many other things without success, I felt we should give it a go.
The dogs took to it from the first bowl and within a few weeks both showed quite an improvement in their coats. By the end of four months; they needed to get their coats trimmed - a first in a long, long, time.
Our vet was thrilled and has begun recommending it to patients with Westies having the same issue.
We still have to deal with some problems on a seasonal basis (they are both allergic to grass!) but the Royal Canin seems to help keep it to a minimum.
I recommend it highly and without reservation."

Roayl Canin Saved My Puppy,

"We had eleven puppies whose mother was not able to nurse from the first week because of mastitis. We did fairly well bottle feeding round the clock (4 of us). We were SO relieved when they could begin eating food. BUT. our relief and happiness lasted only a few days. One puppy developed PAVRO - even after having all the shots and everything. Our vet kept the puppy with parvo until she was passed the crisis stage and recommended Royal Canin for her and for all of the puppies. Because of its ingredients and nutrition, all of the puppies survived and thrived. We kept the "parvo puppy" and she is the picture of health today at 8 months. Thanks to Royal Canin."

"I have a pomeranian who has always had very sensitive, flaky skin, and fur that was rough and dull. We used to feed her the nutro mini bites, but had issues grooming because of her skin. After switching to royal canin, which she just loves, her skin and fur have transformed! She is no longer flaky, even after grooming, and her fur is soft and shiny! She is 7 1/2 now, and looks beautiful. I only wished I would have tried this sooner. It is worth every penny."

"I recently rescued a 2 yr old cocka-poo from my vet - I could not get him to eat anything - I was back and forth to your store every other day - after trying 10 different brands, including venison, fish, sweet potato, duck and the normal ones, I picked up a bag of Royal Canin 30 and almost passed out when I put it down and he ate the whole thing. I noticed on the bag it said for sensitive stomachs and fussy eaters - well he was fussy but I definately hit the Jackpot with this product. He's happy and I am feel much better that he is eating and eating healthy to boot."

Wow what a difference!,

"I have a Chinese Crested Powder Puff with hypersensitive skin and digestive system. This food made a remarkable difference in her digestion. She no longer spits up after a meal. She no longer has red spots where she had "itchy spots" on her skin. I wouldn't buy any other brand - no matter what the cost. I stock up when I can get to a Pet Smart Store."

Royal Canin special 30 is the best,

"I have a westie/cairn mix whose coat was atrocious until I found this food. Her coat was sparse and dull. There wasn't a need for trimming more than 2 times a year before. Now her coat grows out thick and she now needs to be trimmed 4-5 times a year. What a difference this food has made! She also had some hip issues before which were noted by the vet. At times she would limp for a day or so intermittently. Since we have changed her over to this food, she has not had another limping episode. It has been one and a half years. We are thrilled and don't even consider buying any other brand any more. My entire family has moved their pets to this brand due to the great results which are evident in our dog."

"My mom has a very picky pug who wouldnt eat any of the nutro mini bite brands! My fiance' and I recently bought a boston terrier and were at petsmart looking for good food brands, i saw the variety of small breed choices in royal canin so I put my BT on the small breed puppy mini bites and she just LOVES it! Well my mom's pug started diggin in to my pups food. At the time my mom was trying science diet for the pug which ofcourse she wasnt eating. We then saw this type of royal canin, my mom bought it and the pug chows down. She loves it. She's a grouchy 2 years old and she is spoiled rotten but it's nice that she's found a dog food that she actuaclly enjoys and she begs less for people food now :]"

"Only dog food my dogs will eat. They get human food mixed in with dog food. All other brands they pick out the human food and leave the dog food. This brand, they actually eat the dog food also. They have all gained weight now also."

Perfect Choice for Fussy Allergy Prone Westies,

"My two year old West Highland White Terrier has allergies to corn and wheat, and is a very fussy eater. We tried several of the best brands of food for him, which he would only pick at. I was in despair as he kept losing fur as a result of all his scratching. It got so bad that from his waist level down to the tip of his tail, he lost all his fur and his skin was red and tender. Even with medication from our Vet, the problem continued. We saw his Obedience Trainer in Pet Smart one day, she took one look at him and put the Royal Canin Mini Special bag into my cart. "This is what Dundee needs", she said.
When I put the nuggets into his bowl that night, Dundee wolfed them down. It was the most enthusiasm he had ever shown for any dog food!! After three months, his lovely fur was almost completely restored, and it grows so rapidly that he needs clipping every 6 weeks now. By far, it's the best choice for an allergy-prone fussy eater, and you'll love the way it helps to restore your dog's skin condition and fur. I won't use anything else."

"I have Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are prone to sensitive stomachs and flaky skin. I fed my cavaliers Royal Canin Mini Puppy food and loved it. Then after reading advice from some breeders, tried several of the "healthiest" dog foods and watched my cavaliers coats get dull and dry with increased shedding. I have gone back to Royal Canin and the Mini Special keeps them healthy with shiny coats and happy tummies. I won't switch again."
