I have kidney failure cat who absolutely refused all the prescription diets. I finally gave up and figured a mature food with a little lower protein would be better then nothing so i tried this. NOT only did his kidney values improve he gained 4 pnds back in a year! I feed this to all of my cats now.

Pros: the cats love it

Cons: a little high in price

I've been feeding this to my cat for about 2 weeks and there was an immediate change with my cats feces. It states that this food can reduce the size and smell of the feces and that is exactly what it did with my cat. My cat just turned 10 years old so I decided to put him on a mature formula and upgrade in quality. I tried the smallest bag they have which is about $5 or $6 dollars just to try it out and we love it. I recommend this to anyone with a mature age indoor cat, especially if they have smelly feces. I saw a difference in his feces in about 2 days. It worth the money!

"This is the only premium brand dry food my cat will actually eat. A few days after starting her on Royal Canin Mature 27, we noticed a huge difference in her activity level. Even with her bad hip (presumably an injury from her "stray" days), she plays like a kitten again. This product definitely deserves 5 stars!"
