My 4 German Shepherds LOVE this food!,

"I have 4 German Shepherds and they ALL love Royal Canin German Shepherd formula food! My older male, Holtz (5), used to have stomache problems with every type of food that I tried and, finally, our vet recommended Royale Canin German Shepherd food (he also has a German Shepherd mix). When I switched Holtz's food, I had to switch all the other 3 as well (because they kept wanting to eat Holtz's food and they weren't interested in theirs anymore!)
So, all of mine love this food and I can actually use the kibble bits as treats for behavioral training as well. They all have wonderful, shining coats, no skin problems and no digestive problems. All of my dogs are super healthy and I couldn't ask for a better food!"

"WOW! My dog has been on this for 3 weeks. she is a counter surfer, so i switched her to make sure that she was getting everything that she needed. well it didn't cure the counter surfing, but her coat is amazing. it compares to when she would get a bowl of grease bits. It is shiny and her tail is high and proud. She doesn't counter surf as bad and her hips look really good. Before, I would take her to the vet and they would tell me that her hips look normal but I always thought something was wrong. Well, with this food and an extra bone of chondroiten/glucosamine, her hips are not enlarged anymore and she is happier and more puppy like. I absolutely love this food it is totally worth it. Yes, it costs a bit more, but it is worth is when you think of a German shepherds hips, and life span which isn't long. Most larger breeds don't last past 12 years max(yes I mean large, like 80lbs+) so this food is worth it. They eat less but gain more in youth and health."

Fit for a Work Dog!!!!!!!,

Pros: dog loves it!, shape of food is great!
"My husband bought this food for his K-9 police dog. Finally,Finally the poor dog has stoped itching. The vet would say that all German Shepards from Germany have skin problems and sores on there body but it was so sad to see the dog none stop itching as if ticks and fleas we tearing him up. We bought this food a little over a week ago and his itching has dramatically reduced to almost nothing. He has so much more energy and fight in him during training. Also he eats slower because the shape of the food makes him chew his food properly. Ajax loves his food!!!!! I recommend this food to all K-9 handlers."

Best GSD food on the market!,

"I have been a GSD owner my entire life and have had to repeatedly deal with their stomach/intestine issues. Since my breeder introduced us to this product we have had no issues, specifically we just adopted a rescue with major issues (fissures etc...) once he got on this diet all his aliments have cleared up and his coat is fantastic!"

"Our German Shepherd pup was only eating lightly and would have an upset stomach after eating a different food. Our Vet recommended the Royal Canin and the results have been great. Cherokee cleans his bowl and has not had the digestive problems that he had before. When we are out for a walk people always remark on the gloss and fullness of his coat. It's the food."

"Our white shepherd was on Nutro when we first rescued her at 9 months old. We kept her on it for about 6 months but saw that she wasn't putting on enough weight. We decided to switch to RC and noticed a change right away. The kibble size and shape is perfect for her as it forces her to eat slower and chew - which is something she needs to do to avoid being sick. She also put on the 10 pounds she needed within 6 months of being on the food. She also seems to absorb much more of the food and nutrients as she goes to the bathroom less. I recommend RC for german shepherds 130%."

"My sherpard cross is 6 years old, and is/was starting to show signs of joint stiffness. I originally always fed her Technical, but when we got our new puppy, she decided she liked that other brand better. I read the reviews from other pet parents and decided to move her off of the IAMS brand I was feeding her to RC. She's been on it now for 2 weeks and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Her coat is sliky, no more limping, she's happy and she actually sheds less.. She is a picky eater usually but she started eating this as fast as I could shovel it out of the bag! I love that it looks after her joints too!!! EXCELLENT, MONEY WELL SPENT!"

"I have a pair of females, & of the two, the older one has the more sensitive gut. After putting them on this, she's had less trouble than before it was recommended for her. Their vet told me about it, so I tried it. They both love the taste, they don't seem to have the issues with their skin, & their coats are nice. Dinner time is no longer a time for either of them being finicky."

"This dog food is the best. After reading other reviews and speaking with some other shepherd owners we chose this brand. Now she eats a ton less, isn't food aggressive anymore, her coat looks great, and sheds way less. I would DEFINITELY recommend this food to anyone...."

"Our Jazmyn, whom we had tried a variety of foods, loves Royal Canin for German Shepards. She had tried Iams puppy, Pedigree puppy, and 2 or 3 other big brand names and liked none of them...we decided to try the RC and she loves it....eats it as fast as you pour it and is actually getting out of the "ugly shepard" stage and is getting some meat on her bones!"
