"I started using Nature's Recipe Fish Meal & Potatoes when my beagle was having digestion problems. The vet had recommended another brand offered only at the vet's office, but I opted to try Nature's Recipe at PetSmart. The price was reasonable, PetSmart is convenient, and I understand Nature's Choice is is an animal friendly company. My beagle loved the product. Not only do we use it for her meals, but also as her treats. My beagle no longer has digestive problems and is as happy as can be."

"What a relief! For our Lab & for us too. Poor darling itched & scratched until he had sores. Vet said it was probably food allergies. The hunt for a food that would work for him began. We tried many different brands & blends. A few months ago we found Nature's Choice Easy-to-Digest here at PetSmart. It's made such a difference in our lives we'll be forever grateful. Within one bag of the food our guys sores were all healed & he's no longer itching & chewing like he did. We have a much happier household now that we know our boy is comfortable. "My neighbor stopped by once an brought a little bit of the new dry food she had bought for her dog(the dog has allergies). It was the blue brand of fish an potatoes my dogs loved it. My oldest dog is very picky with food an tends to have diarrhea often. We bought Nature's recipe for the cheaper price tag. The dogs love it an i can't think of a time since the change that they have had stomach problems."

Great food for dogs with digestion problems.,

Pros: easily digestable
"I have a 5 1/2 year old male Doberman. He has problems with colitis and requires a highly digestable food. Beef is an absolute no no for him. I had him on Science Diet I/D prescription food. He liked the canned but really didnt care for the dry. I kept him on it for 1 1/2 years even though he didnt eat it very well. So knowing he liked fish I bought him this food after doing MUCH research. It has taken a long time to get him into a routine of eating again but he loves this food!! I was very sceptical to change his food being afraid it would trigger an attack from his colitis. He hasn't had any problems at all and he eats this food very well!"

"My 10 yr old cocker has had chronic ear & skin infections for the last 6 yrs.With the help of our vet & research on my part we switched over to the fish & potato. After just 5 days on this food, his ears look great. Also, he is a very finiky with what he eats & he LOVES IT!!! I also have 2 cocker pups & once they start on adult food they will definately be fed this!"

"My Bichon has alergies to food with red meat and is a very picky eater. He loves this product with potato & fish. For a special treat, put water over it and microwave 30 seconds, drain and he thinks it's "human" food. I have never had a stale bag or one with "pests" like some other brands. I highly recommend."

Affordable alternative for Prescription Diets,

"I'm a Vet Tech, and we see dogs with food allergies on a daily basis. Many dogs are allergic to corn and wheat, and some are also allergic to chicken and lamb as well. This food offers a new type of meat to most dogs (fish), and has potatoes instead of corn. Whenever we see allergic dogs, this is the FIRST food I recommend. It is affordable, and has the same ingredients (if not better ones) than most prescription allergy dog foods."

"Constant itching, biting, scratching, red sores on belly and severe bacterial infections in the stomach. These are just a few of the symptoms my Catahoula, Chance, has been displaying over the past year. I was at a loss and my wallet was empty from all of the vet visits, steroid shots, and antibiotics. My vet finally advised that it was possible that my boy had food allergies. FOOD ALLERGIES?!?!?! Okay....so what do I do. Find a food that has no beef, corn, or by-products. Do you have any idea how hard that is to find in a small town where your only shopping choice is a BIG retailer we all know in the south? After doing some research at Petsmart.com online I came accross Nature's Recipe Easy-to-Digest Fish Meal & Potato. It had great reviews and there was a Petsmart 20 miles away in the next town. ONE WEEK....and I do mean ONE WEEK....later and all the sores are gone, stomach is settled for the first time in over 6 months, and the itching has been greatly reduced. And Chance loves the food (as does his brother and sister). He actually looks forward to meal times. I will never use another product. It has saved my baby's life."

"My female GSD was born with skin problems; for 8 years it was out of control until a dermatologist recommended a natural food with NO RICE, only fish & potato. My male GSD has had stomach problems his whole life as well, so we had to be careful what we fed him. Once I switched over both my shepherds to Nature's Recipe Fish & Potato, miraculously both dogs are now problem-free. I highly advise trying this for your dog!"

"My poor little girl had been itching and biting at herself for so long and no one could put their finger on the problem. One vet thought mange, one thought allergies, one even tried a spinal adjustment thinking it could have been nerve related. Out of desperation, I started searching for natural food choices.
