I have 2 Chihuahua's that are both the same age (3 years old) but have different needs. My male is prone to weight gain and my female fit but has issues with her a. glands. This food works great for both of their needs. It's low in fat and calories so it's perfect for my boy and it has a lot of fiber which helps my girl with her gland issues. This is also the only "light" brand food that they will both eat and really enjoy. The small bites are the perfect size for their little mouths. I also add a little warm water to the kibble and it brings out the aroma - they just love it!
Pros: high quality, price, digestible, taste

Ihave a little beagle with a constipation problem along with inactivity. This product solved all her problems and has made her a happier and healthy doggie. It was the only product I could find with high fiber and I am so glad I found it and so is Dixie.

This food is great. It helps keep my dog at a healthy weight. He loves the taste. My dog is five years old and has been on this food since he has been a puppy. I switched him to a different food a couple of years ago for a little while and he did not enjoy eating it. It would just sit in his dish until he was really hungry. I switched back to the science diet and he loved it. Even after eating this food for almost six years he loves it. He is so excited at meal times. I will never take him off this food again.

this is ths best dog food for new puppie and also for older dogs who are losing there teeth. I highly recommend this product.

My dog, Maggie, Cairn Terrier, 5 yrs old, really liked this Science Diet Lite. Small bites were easy for her to eat plus I didn't feel like I was "starving" her. Cairn's can easily get overweight quickly if one's not careful!! But with this Lite food she was obviously satisfied with the amount and still had lots of energy for chasing the squirrels out of the back yard!
All in all we were both very much satisfied with the Science Diet Lite dry dog food.

keeper (note - not my Master) ( I'm his Master). Been on Science Diet for many years. I've lost some
teeth and put on some weight over the years. The
Lite and Small Bites variety is excellant. I do believe
you reconigize the right type of food as we age.
I do love your treats also, can't leave them out. I do
share some of my grapes/carrots with the old man.
I'm a female minature long hair Dachshund and very
proud of it.
