All three of my cats have been on Science Diet Cat food from the day they were brought home as kittens. We have gone from kitten food all the way to Senior and I would not use anything else. My oldest cat is nearly 12 years old, and the other two are within 1 and 2 years of that age. Not one of them has ever been sick. I don't worry at all about their nutritional needs while using this cat food. I know they are getting everything they need to stay healthy. They love the taste too. What good is nutrition if they won't eat it?
I would recommend this food to any cat/kitten owner. In my opinion it is the best food one can buy.

I adopted a cat from the shelter and they sent him home with a bag of this food. Neither he nor my resident cat will eat it.

I got myself a two year old female cat at a shelter for Valentine's Day. She was fed this wonderful product at the shelter and I have kept her on it. She absolutely loves it and I wouldn't think of feeding her anything else. Her fur is glossy and absolutely beautiful, which I attribute a great deal to the terrific ingredients.

I have 7 cats. There are a few things about this food I would mention. First, this is one of the few foods I've found that all of my cats like. I have used this food for about 4 years now.
There was a time a couple of years ago that I switch to a different brand because others were telling me SD was too expensive and not a good food. A couple of months after I switched from SD to another brand, a relative that knows my cats very well didn't recognize one of them. My cats coat was a bright shiny red while on SD, it turned so dull on the other food my relative thougt it was a new cat. Also one of my cats suffered a urinary blockage on the new food. He neverr once had crystals while on SD (I have their urine checked at their annual exams each year).
I switched back to SD and all is well. Also to those concerned about the corn in SD. Per my vet, cats in the wild eat mice, mice eat corn.
Pros: cats love the taste
Cons: a little pricey

We have feed our cats science diet their whole lives. They like the flavor, the pieces are just the right size, and I know its healthy for them. I would never switch to any other brand of cat food. Overall, this is a great cat food that I would recommend to anyone!!

An Amazing Transformation!

Thanks to Science Diet Adult Optimal Care, our Cat's have made an amazing transformation. Within a week of switching to Science Diet that spark came back into their eyes and they began acting like kittens again! Before we had tried many other high quality food's that could only be purchased at feed stores, none of them ever working out. Eventually we settled on a very recommended and well reviewed food that didn't contain by-products or grains, but our older female cat lost a lot of weight and our neutered 1 year old male acted like a 10 year old. Now our female is putting on the weight she lost and our young male has started using his cat tree and toys again! Even our older female's energy has gone up. What a remarkable change in such a short time! This food get's 5 stars from me and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I've given this food to them since i got them and they love it! They recently changed the texture of the food and it took them a few times to get use to it. Now they love the food! They won't eat anything else other then science diet!

I recently adopted a 2 year 8 month old cat from an animal shelter, and its fur was all raggedy and unfluffy. My vet recommended I start it on Science Diet, and in two weeks, there was a huge change! Her fur is now fluffy and nice. My little cat also loves eating it, and is always excited when I bring out the bag. People may think Science Diet is bad because it has "corn" but in reality, the corn is cooked, thus leading to no harm. Science Diet is the best cat food, people say, but they say that is is too expensive. But, if you go to the Science Diet coupon, you can print out a 5 dollar off a 4 lb. or larger bag, and you can find a coupon for 8 dollars off a 17.5 lb or larger bag. Well, that's it! Go out and buy a bag of Science Diet today!

This is the best cat food ever. I just measure out the amount on the bag and my cat has thrived. She has bright eyes, shiny coat and maintains her weight. I don't have to worry about too much fat in her diet. She's six yeard old now and has had nothing but Science Diet. Thank you for such a good product. I have started my second cat on the same cat food and she is doing just as well as the first. My vet even sells it at his office.

Our cat's are quite picky when it comes to dry food. But they LOVE this food! I have to constantly refill their bowl since they love it so much! We have three cat's and to find a food they all love is a MIRACLE.

I have two cats, so I usually break down and buy the 20 lb bag. It's sooo worth the $25! One bag usually lasts me around 3 months. The cats eat less of the Science Diet because they are fuller longer. It seems like they were constantly eating with the grocery store brands. Their coats and eyes look great and they are very healthy.

I wouldn't buy anything else, I have been buying this product for my cats for about a year now. My older cat has bladder problems and also has problems with alergies. This is the only product that he has liked, let alone hasn't had any problems with. He also comes and wakes me up every morning now as soon as my alarm goes off. I can't imagine changing their food to anything other than Science Diet.

I have never seen anything like this product. My cats will not eat any other dry food. I have told my mom about it as well as my grandmother. They have bought it and their cats also love it. Keep up the great work Science Diet.

We have 3 adult cats and they all eat the Science Diet Feline Light and have for 6 years. There has never been a time when they have refused to eat and when I try to give them some other type or brand of food they will only eat the Sience Diet. We have one cat that has no teeth and she will only eat the Science Diet Light food even though it is hard nuggets. I have tried to give her canned food thinking it would be eaisier to eat but she won't touch it. She is not undernourished but on the heafty side and she eats like a horse. Even the dog will eat it if we don't keep it out of his reach, he will wait for the cats to drop some of it so he can clean it up. I would recommend this to any cat owner in a heart beat. I would however like to see a type of light cat food that is also a hairball deterent, and a type that is a little softer for older cats.
