This is a great product. We started using the previous version after our dog contracted lyme disease when he was around 10 and have been using it ever since. Our dog is a Dalmatian probably German Shorthair Pointer mix and he has some of the Dalmatian skin sensitivity issues. His coat and skin are good, he likes the food and his is heading toward his 22 birthday in March.

I have been using Science Diet 7+ for my two pets for over 5 years on my Vet's advice. Both my Dogs love it and can't wait for more. Both are over 12 now and still get glowing reviews from their Vet. I believe wholeheartedly that Science Diet is, in part, responsible for their great health!
Pros: healthy ingredients., dogs love the taste., easy to find.

Now my gals are older and I was giving them pills by mouth of gloucosamine but found this and started feeding- my dogs are in their teens and moving became easier for them- now remember mie are in their teens- and way beyond adult food. They love the taste and they are peppier than they have been in years- seriously they still jump crawl and eun and one looks like a 4 yr old at15- if the company wants to contact me go right ahead- this stuff is amazng
Pros: coat is better, movement is better, smells great, they eat it
Cons: price is a little high but they are worth it, hard to find it

I have two small dogs one 12 year old and a 3 year old. Both benefit from the Joint support that is added to the food. The nuggets are also the right size for most size dogs...as the nuggets are not too tiny and the dogs actually have to chew the food which is good for their teeth. My older dog even has a sensitive stomach and he does great on this food!

Our older retriever/lab mix has NEVER been a food motivated dog, with any food. But he loves this food. He stands by the bag now and waits for it to be put into his food bowl. He cannot wait to eat it. The vet recommended it, and now the dog does too!

Since my dog turned 8, I have tried different food combinations so he could get the benefits of the the senior formula food. First, I bought a bag of this senior formula, mostly because it has glucosamine in it. He wouldn't eat it unless he was VERY hungry. So, then I mixed it half and half with the Science Diet Light formula, and he spit out the senior formula pieces and only ate the light formula pieces. Now, he's back on the light formula and loves it and I give him a glucosamine pill each day.

I have 3 dogs. One large and two small. 2 are 11yo and one 6yo. They love this stuff. I use to by the Advantage, but hard to find, so I switched to 7+. My dogs are VERY picky, but it's true, their bowls are always licked clean. My oldest had a dry coat and now it's soft and shiney and he is more active. HIGHLY recommended by my dogs!! Been buying 40lb bags for about a year and a half now. Wouldn't change to any other brand!!! Wish I knew sooner about this wonderful brand!! Thanks Science Diet.

I have two dogs - a 15lb Sheltie and a 75lb lab/pit mix who are both 14 and doing beautifully on this stuff. My vet was firm in his opinion that this was the best for them. So, I reluctantly stepped-up from the very good C*o house brand.
Good move - they really like it, their stool volume and firmness is much improved, and their skin and coats seem better for it.

Ihave 4 dogs and found this food product to be the best for the two older dogs. of course the younger dogs love it also. they like the taste and never leave any in the bowls. thanks for making a great food.
